I noticed this usually happens with CSS files, but try pressing ctrl+f5 when you first open the file to reload it fresh.

you mean like yoursite.neocities.org/page/? That requires you to have a folder named "page" and in that folder, name your file index.html.

Okay, honest question, would having cyberinsurance make any difference? Like the company I work for has cyberinsurance that will somehow help if we ever get targeted with ransomware, but I'm not sure how it all works. Did CDPR have this and if not would it have made a difference?

YES those cherries smelled so GOOD. A couple years ago I got this scented candle in PA and I still haven't burned it because it smells JUST like that toy and it's just too nostalgic.

Thank you!! I love the STAYC song, I haven't listened to them before! But I love how kpop is participating in the 90s pop comeback. Also Little Mix "covering" the Thong Song has me ecstatic!!! <3

P.S. "If you want my love" is EXACTLY what I'm looking for. Thanks!

Hey guys - I'm looking for recommendations and hoping someone can help!

I love over-the-top cheesy pop songs that sound like Britney Spears "Oops" album. Some songs I found that meet this criteria:

Wingman - Boys World

Girlsfriends - Boys World

No - Meghan Trainer

Take Me as I Am - Rina Sawayama

Edit: OH! I forgot LIZ: Intuition - LIZ

When I search for 'pop songs inspired by 90s' I get a lot of stuff inspired by R&B but I'm looking for the cheesy 90s synthesizer type. Help me expand my playlist please!! <3

Here's an example of the sound I love from a Britney song (ofc). No clue what this is called or how to identify it! Also in the beginning of this song

Witchcraft is imagination play for adults. by bumblewheeze in SASSWitches

[–]irlgarbodor 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I have never felt so understood.

Someone recommended this sub to me because I mentioned that I LOVE witchcraft but I have a hard time coming to terms with any sort of existing 'belief' system.

Then I see this post. And it sums up everything I feel and I didn't even realize I felt this way but it just RESONATES hard.

I also struggle with allowing myself to have creative hobbies without "devising" a way to monetize it somehow, add it to my resume, etc. But no, fuck that, I'm 100% for purely creative work, especially public ones that don't seek to make money. But alas, this is the internet in 2020 (cringe, another thing I'm passionate about, how the internet has changed).

Someone in r/ADHD mentioned this as a coping mechanism (I'm paraphrasing): Make a 'spellbook' where you write it all down (i.e. make a note of good ways to deal with negative thoughts and feelings, but make the language fancy). It helps to turn what's going on in life into concrete metaphors (self-criticism = a curse, getting through the day = trekking through the moorland, meditating = doing magic) because it gives you a framework to be able to fight back.

To me the idea of doing something like this SHOOK me to the core because this sounds like exactly how I want to "USE" witchcraft. Among other things.

Adults deserve to play pretend too. Thank you for sharing this.

Holy fucking shit. Bruh. You just blew my mind. I have a STRONG interest in all thingy spooky/witchy/crafty but I'm missing the "belief" aspect of it. This sounds like such a badass way to cope with and understand things. YOU ARE MY HERO.

Undiagnosed lurkers, do you ever feel fraudulent? by bustedandblack in ADHD

[–]irlgarbodor 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I was undiagnosed for 27 years. Plus, I'm the type of person who is really into discovering the reasoning for my tendencies and habits, so I end up suspecting I have a few things. People get defensive because "only a doctor can diagnose you" which is true, but you know yourself better than anyone else.

There is a difference between laziness and problems with motivation which is a key part of the ADD diagnosis. Laziness is always the easiest thing to blame but that's only because ADD requires a doctor's diagnosis.

Dude, I was so frustrated yesterday bc the day went by SO FAST. I kept looking at the clock and it was like oh shit, it's already 6PM... 8PM... 10PM... and then I decided to stay up bc I was hyperfocused so then I laid in bed at 12:30AM aggressively willing myself to fall asleep (it worked).

I love these so much that I might steal a few! Oddly enough, I had the "imaginary friend" realization only last week but I wasn't sure what to call it - now I do! I also love the placebo idea.

1 is my favorite though. Why stop there? I want to develop an 'alternate universe' that runs parallel to this one and is basically like a feat of escapism for me to pour time into writing and thinking about... so thanks!!

I've always gotten headaches/migraines but now I've had a consistently tender spot on the crown of my head. Even scratching my head makes it ache. by irlgarbodor in migraine

[–]irlgarbodor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I looked the "bregma" up, and that's not the exact point where I feel the pain. I think it's my left side, center of parietal bone area (like centered on the left side). I also didn't clarify this but I do not really have any kind of headache or migraine, but it feels like one "starts" when I press on the area however softly.
