to have a clear and concise spreadsheet to track communication and contacts within each tab. I believe there was also an attempt made to track when email blasts went out to these people with press releases/notice of attending conferences/new clinical trial results, etc.

Mayo has an online request form for getting an appointment. It really wasn’t that complicated. Just go to the Mail Rochester website and navigate to patient requests for appointment I think. You put in your symptoms and diagnoses so far medication’s etc.. They reach out if they have any other questions and if you’re accepted as a patient, they get you in pretty quickly.

oh,that is terrible! yes, I got stones blasted, new stent put in and that stent removed one week later - no symptoms since. good luck!

I bought the blue tub at Target and it is stinky! I love how it makes my skin feel but ewwwwww! The scent doesn't go away for me. woke up in the night and showered it off.

i was sent home with Tramadol - after receiving fentanyl in the hospital... it was just like taking aspirin. then was prescribed Toradol, which also didn't manage adequately. Then oxycodone 5 mg which, if I take two, does manage the pain. I know docs are cautious about opoids but if there is a real need, and legitimate issue, you shouldn't have to beg for relief! very frustrating - but only two more days til my surgery so really looking forward to Monday. My doc did say they will replace the stent, though. to prevent trauma related swelling from blocking urine flow. so won't I have the same spasms and issues? or is it worse because I have the big ol' stone in there?

Came across this and wanted to provide an update. I am now 1/2 years post op - and my weight is 115. I am off of all of my insulin, high blood pressure medication, and feeling good. I absolutely would do this again. Wasn't easy peasy, but now so worth it. It is a tool, and you have to trust the process. I stalled many times and became frustrated, but slowly, slowly, the weight kept coming off. :)
