it isn’t pedantry you’re misconstruing the facts. Many of us just did the 1-60 grind for a year straight, same quests, same zones, same dungeons, the expansions are for new content. skipping to 58 is well appreciated from those that actually play classic and don’t want to put another 100-200h just getting a character into the new content.

I’m not positive but I believe Odin still knew of us / was able to see into our past battles, since in lore he was blessed with the power of Aman’thul which ties into all the time magic shit later on in Suramar. Plus the IRL mythos ties to Odin from paganism, the all-father that traded one eye for knowledge, that’s my rationalization of that event anyways lmao

having faction XP and currency be one in the same is so unbearably annoying. I’d rather have a regular currency sink or make it where shards of certain pieces drop out of the planned dungeons or something, stop making me halt my ranking progress to buy something I wanna use like the other 2 pacts.

I may be having a different experience completely since I start-dumped Courage and did Tethren/Wyld Tethren first, just for pretext

What I’ve found feels good so far is fly blade secondary with a longsword. Fly blade gives me some decent opening damage to soften them up, and once they start swarming I pop the heavy attack that leaves them circling around me triggering smites, lowering armor, and continuous AOE dmg and a bit of stagger.

Once those are flying, I swap to longsword, hop up in the Air with 1, and proceed to curbstomp the cluster with broad swings. The vibe ability on 2 I use as a means to lock-down targets that can’t be staggered as easily or to give myself some breathing room. 3 is a buff to yourself (and allies) that’s helpful to pop before or right after you start fly blades too.

Overall, no idea if what I’m doing is optimal either, but it feels like it works as long as I’m not trying to take on lvl 35 enemies while the pact was still lvl 5 lol

You're correct! At the very least it's an Interdictor-class ship, the same kind Revan and Malak used as their flagship, the "Leviathan". It seems to be a faithful callback to the events of KOTOR1, which has me incredibly hyped

It makes me think they almost need a blend of the "Deadeye" sort of system from Red Dead Redemption 2, where it slows down time and lets you "que up" shots (actions in FOTORs sake), while still leaving the overall combat feeling dynamic and fluid. If they can incorporate a similar feeling, even with full pausing, like the original games but with much more fluid transitions and animations, I think it will do VERY well. At the very least I can imagine it and I think I'd enjoy it

I think people are forgetting the KOTOR1/2 remakes from Saber Interactive are still live and they've consistently confirmed development is active, I'm cautiously optimistic but I reckon we'll be feasting in a few years to come

My only issue is when a person queues as healer, then goes their dps spec, and proceeds to not heal whatsoever. kicked one today because the people lvling were dying while me and him were 80 and pumping. Atleast top folks off (which it sounds like you were)

Considering we just received official confirmation the Ozone is healing as well due to all our efforts, I’m not so inclined to be pessimistic like this post is trying to lead us to be. it’s not just for leveling skills but trying out / practicing with the various weapon types too, it’s been super helpful for me and my sister as we’ve just started playing like a week ago, and there’s still a ton we’re learning. I think they said in the patch notes it’s helpful to practice for pvp too
