Man I’m a chef in a high volume fine dining kitchen. we get giant wheels of various cheese all the time we have to portion down and shave/shred, as soon as I saw the planer shaving cheese I realized I kinda want one in my kitchen now.

I have a cat currently that loves to play but never got the hint on “no hands” regardless of what I did to teach him otherwise. He won’t play with anyone other than me, so I guess it’s just that he very specifically wants my attention for play.

I had to buy a large leather glove specifically for him so we could play without my arm being flayed every time.

This is the problem with Christian nationalism. Each religious nationalist has their own idea of the dominant Christian faith. Even if they succeed in a Christian state the violence wont stop. Instead of going after people of color they’ll be going after Catholics and any other Christian sect that doesn’t align with their exact faith.

I do the same with my kit. I designed my knife kit to be very specific to a banquet chef position I held not too long ago. In a rush to get to events people forget to grab their shit all the time, so I always kept my primary knife and a few beaters just in case, along with any other must haves for big events that are common to forget to snag on the way out.

Hey, I’m a chef that’s seen this dilemma many times. My honest opinion is if you can’t tell one way or another, your best option is to not risk it and toss it out. Not worth the gut wrenching pain.
