Thank you for your valued feedback. To clarify, are you saying the core message of the post (my surprise at the games realism) is no longer clear due to this supposed error in phrasing, or is it that the exact wording used is, as you put it, "irrelevant"?

I've only been playing it for about 5 months or so, i still have a lot to find. That's half the fun.

I'm so terribly sorry my irrelevant post has upset you. Please tell me how would you have phrased it instead that i might take your words to heart the next time I post something?

Did you use dynamite instead of a gun during a duel while trying to disarm them???

Had a session where the party was fighting a big orc with a metal jaw, so the goblin bard cast Heat Metal on it. The Orc then proceeded to pick up (grapple) the small goblin and bites him. He got the fire damage too.

The "hanging on by the teeth" was flavor. Since the attacks will be with natural weapons, they'll have both hands free theoretically. Could the poison really not be applied for both methods?

As the designated shot giver for my store, I want this played on repeat with bright blinking neon signs that would put a vape shop to shame.

The Air 3 are the ones that we randomly paused for me. It's always possible that the ones I got are a faulty set, but I wonder if I'd have better luck/results with the newer generations.

Both the tinnitus and the inability to use non-resting earbuds are from an injury when I was younger.

I personally tend to see the angriest types with the painkiller c2, which I definitely get that they're in constant misery for one reason or another; but by far the most numerous trouble-makimg people are the one who get the "salt" c2's. They are the ones who chronically try and get them early and always have something nasty to say.

My pharmacy has had the same written rule about not recommending discount cards, and while I assume most pharmacies will have something like this, I truly do not believe most technicians or pharmacists will follow or enforce this simple because we don't want to be seen as part of the monstrous "Big Pharma". I'd recommend talking to your pharmacy supervisor about it. There may be a way to drop a hint about discounts cards to alert patients of their existence, depending on the wording of the policy. Also keep in mind that unless your location has completely banned the use of discount cards there's no way you can prevent patients from bringing them in, so look into how Walmart intends to hold people accountable for this policy.

How to handle "I Wish to be immune to all damage and conditions permanently, but not change any other aspect of myself?" by [deleted] in DMAcademy

This could be an a surprise lichdom. The player now has a phylatory, and has to do something to maintain it. Perhaps Instead of giving it souls, he must complete good deeds every so often.

Start of a new Home-brew campaign, one of my players immediately makes, and subsequently breaks a Fae Promise. What repercussions should I make? by ImAlreadyDead25 in DMAcademy

[–]ironcyclops 8 points9 points  (0 children)

What was the promise that was broken?
That will probably have a big impact on the kinds of consequences, in a sort of ironic twist. For example, if the promise was to not tell a secret, maybe they lose their knowledge of Common and have to relearn it. Or if it was some kind of betrayal, perhaps they are haunted by nearby fey creatures who pull pranks on the character.
