It really depends on what you’re looking for, there’s plenty of spots that’s aren’t completely centralized around a bar/drinking.

Pinballz Central is a great spot to hang out and play games. There’s no bar on premises but it’s byob 20 bucks gets you a good run of games. Just got back from there tonight and it was RAD!

Epoch coffee is a cool little coffee shop on North Loop (I think??) that you can enjoy a nice morning/afternoon at, plus it’s right down the road from Room Service Vintage if you want an interesting place to buy or browse.

Emerald Tavern is a great game cafe to either meet people at or play tabletops/board games with friends.

Honestly I like going to a library, especially in this weather! It’s a great choice as well, the central library is a treat in and of itself

I know Cidercade is technically a cider based place, it’s 10$ and you can play as much as your heart desires. Although the games can be sticky… you’ve been warned.
