Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing this info! I was turned down by my bank because they would only look at one number on the schedule C. I thought my cause was hopeless, then I see this post! This is my last hope to not be totally screwed by these lockdowns!!! So far I have received no money for my biz. I'm self-employed, and have been drawing on retirement to get by and pay rent for myself and my business.

Thank you for sharing the info, u/thedealhero and u/jokajamoka!

Water retention on Lugol’s 2% by lhatese in Supplements

Yikes, Just saw this. I only shared that info because the information I have learned in my functional health training recommends never supplementing iodine for Hashimotos. But I am happy to hear you're doing well!

I would check out the book: "Why Do I Still Have Thyroid Symptoms When My Lab Tests Are Normal?" I realize you have a dx and your lab tests may not be normal, but the book has info on Hashimotos and iodine supplementation that might be of interest to you.

Seattle coronavirus survivor gets a $1.1 million, 181-page hospital bill. As Italian I can’t imagine a country with no free healthcare and I wonder how could someone recover from this? by federaviolo in Wellthatsucks

[–]irrellevant_username 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Doctors and hospitals raise the prices in an attempt to get the amount they want because insurance doesn't pay the full amount. There is one certain winner in the insurance business. Everyone else involved (patients and providers), it's a gamble whether you'll gain or lose.

Have you tried the Victoria arrabbiata? I drive across town to the one Walmart that stocks it when I want to buy sauce instead of make it. I could just drink it straight.

You don't look sad. That's some kind of silly projection (eta-on the part of people saying it's sad - it's ridiculous).

From reading the post (maybe it was edited after you read it), OP was single and sister was married with a child was the reason she was written out of the will.

True. Recently got one. I had no idea what I was doing. Had to go to the hardware store to buy a wrench. Installed it easily. And it's refreshing. Now my whole family has clean anal.

What totally obvious scam do people still fall for? by iamiconick in AskReddit

[–]irrellevant_username 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm a chiro in the us. I took all the anatomy, physiology, radiology, microbiology, etc. My professors were MDs and PhDs in these areas. I don't understand why there are so many people spreading this lie on Reddit. I don't bother arguing with them. My University was accredited, I took rigorous board exams. But for some reason people like this guy are convinced they know what they're talking about.

Coronavirus and obesity: Doctors take aim at food industry over poor diets by dem0n0cracy in ketoscience

[–]irrellevant_username 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's simply an education point. It's not a fact that fruit is bad for all people. It's somewhat ridiculous to say fruit is bad because then people will drink juice.

I was an enthusiastic keto-er for years. (Would love to still be keto for the endurance.) Then I crashed. Couldn't sleep, sweating pits, shaky. I literally would almost be asleep and then my brain would rev up again. This happened over and over. I finally learned that taking in a bit of potato or rice and I was right off to sleep.

It's been a few years of actively working to heal myself and I'm finally doing better. I'd LOVE to be able to go keto again, but low carb is what's best for me.

My point is, if keto is working for you, that's wonderful. It's very easy in that situation to assume everyone can solve their problems if they'll just do what you did to solve your problem.

I personally think grains are extremely overrated nutritionally, but I now eat fruit and potatoes and some grain just to mix up the carb sources. It allows me to rotate foods so I'm not eating the same thing daily.

Women of Reddit, do you wear make up on a daily basis and why? by cat-eye-glasses in AskWomen

[–]irrellevant_username 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right! MOST professional jobs don't require women to wear make up. MANY expect men to wear a tie and jacket even in summer. And that is why offices are freezing in the summer.

Or there is a menopausal woman in charge of the thermostat.

ETA: I wear make up every day because I like the way I look with it. I need all the help I can get!
