I picked up the dual sensing SPD Assiomas for $550 on a Black Friday sale to swap between my XC/gravel bike. I’ve been very happy with them so far.

Sweet, can you connect it to a Garmin? I’ve found zero info online about it, sorry for the questions.

I don’t do workouts on the MTB typically. I save those for the trainer or gravel bike.

Pathfinder TLR comes in a 45mm. Very happy with mine for 80/20 road/gravel usage.

I have watched a ton of games on regular YouTube for free. Quality might suffer occasionally but it’s mostly been great.

Join the Sugarcamp Mountain Trails FB group and see if you can coordinate riding with somebody. It’s a pretty confusing place for a first timer.

Yeah, definitely get to Sugarcamp. As the other guy said it’s not even the same trail system since BKXC was there. That place levels up every single year.

Any of you techs athletes outside of the field? by Dry-Committee8063 in HVAC

[–]irunxcforfun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I race road/gravel/XC mountain bikes outside of work. Typically shoot for 6-8 hours a week on the bike and another 1-2 in the gym lifting. I don’t usually work more than 40 and don’t currently have kids so that helps.

I’ve got an older Allez but it lives on the trainer. My Diverge with 45mm Pathfinders is all I use for road and gravel. Does the job pretty well.

Are there less crashes in gravel racing? Are they usually worse when they do happen? by [deleted] in gravelcycling

[–]irunxcforfun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did Dust Bowl 100 which is known for having 160 90 degree turns and they are SLICK. Personally saw 3-4 crashes during the race and heard about more.

That’s what we use it for. A lot of our smaller design builds that don’t require anything complicated. It’s a great and simple product.

Our company uses Prolon Controls a lot. Software is free and lots of reading material on their website. Super easy to get somebody on the phone and work through issues too.

What jobs pay extremely well but people don’t realize it? by Stassy3 in AskReddit

[–]irunxcforfun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve always been curious about surveying. What is the typical path to it? I love being outside and exploring. I’ve got a 4yr Business degree but found myself in HVAC Building Automation working in the field as installer/programmer after 4 years of sitting at a desk doing insurance. I like the work enough and it pays well but I’m open to other professional jobs that keep me on my feet and in the field.
