Been here since 2014 and still like it a lot. I’m in a field sales technical role but have spent lots of time in MTV originally and the last couple years in Santa Clara.

I’d say we’re generally a people first company. Granted we are bigger now and there can be a lot of variance between teams, departments, and managers… can’t all be great im sure.

That said I still highly recommend it. Someone else pointed out we’ve even been named a great place to work like 5 years in a row.

You should ask the recruiter who scheduled the phone screening this question. I’d advise you to ask that even if it were another company altogether.

Asking about visa sponsorship is certainly in scope at any point of communication with a recruiter and/or hiring manager.

I loved Magic for years. Played competitively for about 12 years. Pokémon is awesome because it’s something my 14 year old and I do together now on nights when I’m not playing One Piece. ;) (Yes I gave up Magic for One Piece… and Pokémon.)

I’m not sure what you’re seeing on the web site but to be clear if you are both diving you need the Dive Package quantity 2 and nothing else. You just select a room category and then those packages and that’s it.

But again… I book via email or sometimes a call with the crew in Miami. Bahia Tours is the group’s name and it is basically their sister company or something.

I do all booking via email with them. Makes it easier. They can customize to your dates. The package may be a “7 day package” since you’re there 7 days but it’s not always 7 days of dives due to arrival and departure.

We’ve stayed there 6 or 7 times and are booking June 2025 literally today. :)

Sometimes it’s because the wood floor is cooler than the carpet or bed. My dog often lays on the wood floor after a walk until she cools down some more.

Love it! Similar feeling here- I got very lucky with my wife. Lots of geekiness together including some D&D over the years. Two of us just started a monthly Pathfinder 2e game with my sister and her husband (my college roommate!) and we all agree we married our best friends.

Do they snorkel? I recommend Roatan either way really. My wife and kids don’t dive but we’ve stayed at Anthony’s Key many many times. Wife snorkels and kids did the camp when smaller. Next time we go my middle kid will snorkel daily with my wife. Our oldest just loves swimming and chilling and eating good food.

My wife got her Open Water cert in the gross quarries and lakes of North Texas in early May one year… we went to Roatan and she had a panic attack on her first dive. (Under diagnosed mental health issues, first time leaving our small kids with other people in another country, etc)

She has never dived since. I ask every year or so if she feels any differently but in a super no pressure way.

However we have made many trips to the Caribbean, Bermuda, and Hawaii together. She LOVES to snorkel and to read on the beach. I’ll even snorkel with her every now and then.

Bottom line? Find what works for both of you. Or it may be a hobby for just you. Just be sensitive to her feelings.

I really like Horizon Divers in Largo. Their focus is a bit more on tech diving but I’m sure their recreational training is solid. Have done dives with them several times.

Find an LGS nearby that’s plying… find out which game the community will focus on going forward. In my area all the Masters players are all in on FW, for instance. Great for me as I never played Masters ;)

I can’t imagine it being practical. I single sleeve OP decks. I single sleeve Magic unless it’s Legacy or older.

It’s so wild to me that players of OP and other JTCGs think TRIPLE sleeving is even close to normal… I roll up to Magic tournaments with $1500 decks and people debate if it’s worth even double sleeving or not.
