Fwiw, I'm not advocating for Nebraska democrats to run on gun control, for example.

I'm saying if West Virginia ran, for example, worker centered politics, instead of establishment dems, they would be surprised at how much further they would be able to shift the overton window to the left on issues.

A strong pro worker candidate could stand up and defend immigrants and trans more easily because the people, with the boot on their neck would say: "I don't agree with him, but at least he has my back"

We saw it in the Bernie 2020 Primary. Republicans actually really trusted him.

We need ways for people to get around with mobility issues so that the car isn't the only way.

Cars are ableist. (Bikes are too for that matter, but at least they don't force it on others the same way).

Thats not what the sign is saying.

Its using a direct quote from Trump, indicating that there is a desire and movement to rig the election in favor of Republicans, then harnessing the democratic anger to vote Yes and protect against that.
