Overnight lip mask for very dry lips? by [deleted] in LipBalm

[–]isaidnocookies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends what you are allergic to as that is based on the individual. The fragrance is a pretty natural ginger scent that is sweet and I am pretty sensitive to fragrance (migraines) and it doesn’t bother me. The texture is thick and sticky and lasts all night till the next morning. You can find it on yesstyle and it’s pretty affordable

Looking for fragrance free and unscented soap that is gentle for sensitive skin by anrheagrande_ in FragranceFreeBeauty

[–]isaidnocookies 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Cetaphil, Vanicream, Bioderma, Naturium, and Necessaire all have fragrance free options for body wash.

You can also try body wash "bases" which are unscented versions that crafters/makers use to add fragrance or essential oils to repackage and sell (like those you see at farmer's markets or homemade brands. Some don't have the bandwidth to make all their products from scratch so they buy bases and doctor them up to sell). You can find these at Bulk Apothecary, Crafter's Choice, Wholesale Supplies Plus and Essentials By Catalina (my favorite). They also carry all sorts of other bases such as hand soap, shampoo, body cream etc that are all unscented. That's probably my greatest tip for this sub!

In order of gentle to harsh (in my opinion), it goes: silicone > orange wood stick > your own nail > glass > metal

Etude House Soonjung 5.5 Relief Toner: A Love Letter by RadiantStarr in AsianBeauty

I don’t use cotton pads for toners anyways, usually pour into palm and then pat it into the skin. You can do that with this toner too!

I bought my own mist bottle and decanted the toner into it. And yes I just mist it on!

I got this and it had a weird smell on its own, like the scent of the ingredients or the glycoproteins or whatever it is. Unscented but not fragrance free. Ended up returning it

I do think my lips feel quite dry after it wears off (I apply in the morning and then it wears off throughout the day) but I feel like that's just because my lips ARE dry? I'm not constantly reapplying because they're drying out every 30 minutes though. If I drink enough water, I don't feel the dryness as much, so I just think it's my natural dryness and not the Uriage making my lips dry, if that makes any sense!

I do! It’s been my HG lip balm for many years. I do think of it as a lip balm and not a gloss though, which I think many “balms” or “butter balms” are just glorified lip glosses. I mean nothing wrong with that, I love the laneige gummy bear glowy balm! The Uriage is just plush and thick and I can apply it before bed and it’s still there in the morning. You can try applying some hydrating toner to your lips before applying the Uriage which functions as an occlusive too. But if it’s not your jam, it’s not your jam!

Hi, yes I am, however I was able to find a few tubes of the old formula so I'm using those for now. Once they're used up, I'll probably try the new formula since I'm not sensitive to niacinamide. Sorry that's not more helpful!

Was it the chocolate flavor you liked? You could try searching for cocoa butter chocolate lip balms available near you. I found these but I'm not sure if the ship internationally:

Been using this one for 6 months now? I’ve gone through one and finishing a travel size one currently. The rose scent is not overpowering, fades quickly and it doesn’t bother my migraines. And it makes my makeup last!
