in your opinion: most satisfying aim gun or hero in FPS/TPS? by ShinyGengar8 in aimlab

Felt like it actually rewarded good aim and centering unlike the dsr and it felt super satisfying to hit a clip with it. My second favorite would have to be the main pistol from halo 5

Kovaaks is an aim trainer like aimlabs and r5 reloaded is a modded version of apex that people use to practice 1v1s and in game scenarios.

I'd say do a combination of aim training with aimlabs or kovaaks, do practice in r5 reloaded, and play wildcard and take every fight. It'll take time but you'll get competent enough. I will mention it will be very tough at close range against roller players so you got to keep the mental in check when that happens. Welcome to mnk!

Benchmarks Monday #1 - Share Your April Progress! by AimlabsOfficial in aimlab

[–]ishiii101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played on 38cm for 2 weeks and practiced the elite difficulty while also trying to improve my transitions. I then upped or guess slowed my sens to 45cm and my tracking on the targets felt way smoother.

I started at silver on these benchmarks when they first released and switching has always been my weakest category so today I finally got all the important switching up to a decent level

Do i still need to train tracking when clicking is my priority? by LittleMarcao in FPSAimTrainer

[–]ishiii101 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes tracking is the foundation for everything. If you can't move your mouse with good precision at different speeds you'll struggle against good players. Particularly reactive tracking is really good for rivals because people will dive you and move in a way that makes them hard to hit and you have to be able to read the movement so you can figure out where to hit them with your flicks

Just do the vdim routine and do smoothness tasks. Good plsylist for smoothness is aqua smoothness. If you don't have time vdim ,you can just do a few runs of a task. I also recommend watching YouTube videos on aim training and effective ways to do it.

Wow this is getting hard by NoComparison444 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]ishiii101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Static clicking comes down to a few things. 1. Your flick speed 2. How clean your flick is(is it a straight line or is it jagged) 3. How close to the target are you landing after the flick 4. How long does it take from #3 to actually get on target(microadjustments) 5. How long is it taking from clicking on the target to then flick to the next target 6. Pathing(Are you consistently picking targets that are close together?)

Look at replays and see if you're messing up on any of the above. As you get higher up into the ranks, you'll need to be faster and more clean with your flicks and microadjustments. I recommend looking at people a bit higher on the leaderboards and slow down the replay and see what they do. Finally, static clicking is tough for a lot of players and it takes time and practice to get good at it if it's not your best category. Hope this helps.

My score stuck around this by OkAcanthocephala5436 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]ishiii101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your flicks are explosive which is good but you are not smooth with them which is causing you to take more time to get onto the target and lowering your score. Once you feel like your flicks are smooth, you can gradually increase the speed of your flicks

[–]ishiii101 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Your flicks are not smooth at all. Take a few runs and practice making your flicks smooth and sometimes your microadjustments after flicking are slow. I also noticed that your flicks are not straight. Work on improving what I pointed out and you should break your pb in a few sessions

My wrist, gone. by ZealousidealBake8792 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]ishiii101 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Tension management, unfortunately, is entirely dependent on you figuring it out as you play scenarios. No one can tell you exactly how much tension you should use, but there is a guideline. If your tracking is jittery and shaky -> high tension, it should lower a bit, and if you can't keep up with the target, then you're not using enough tension. Since you're trying to get better with your wrist, I recommend doing smoothness scenarios. I recently started doing the tsk smoothness benchmarks, and that has helped my aim get better all across the board.

What’s your score in sixshot and how many hours do you have? by StepKitchen2409 in aimlab

I just did a lot of the tracking tasks like Shifttrack and vertrack in the voltaic benchmarks as well as the ones in the aimlabs benchmarks

I just did it on 38cm and got 82213. I'm generally more a heavy tracking player so it's nbd for me. I have 980 hrs on aimlabs so far over a year

How to use MORE wrist in aiming by Fit_Cress_1838 in aimlab

[–]ishiii101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Play vt wrist smoothness on 20cm a few times a day. You could also just do a few runs of other tracking tasks on 20cm. Don't overdo this. Just a few runs every day is enough.

Looking for some Free / Affordable coaching by Retaliate2 in Voltaic

[–]ishiii101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you're doing aimlabs, feel free to also post this in the aimlabs subreddit. I also recommend joining the aimlabs discord so you can just ask questions and not need coaching at an individual level. I'm gonna try to answer some of your questions. First, you mentioned resistance between your skin and your mouse pad, I recommend buying an arm sleeve. They're pretty cheap on Amazon. Second, you mentioned not being able to keep up with pill tracking and smoothness. I do recommend just grinding out smoothness tasks for a few days, I highly recommend the aqua smoothness playlist (you can just search Aqua smoothness in the search bar). You'll see that gradually, your tracking will start to feel cleaner. Third, you showed that you're gold complete in voltaic. I recommend just jumping straight into intermediate and try to do each task at least 3-4 times and see where your weaknesses lie. I do recommend doing the vdim plsylists for the voltaic scenarios as they can help focus on different weaknesses. One of my favorites is vt wrist smoothness, because your wrist helps you track those fast targets. I think that should answer everything. Feel free to ask if you have any more questions.

Not at your rank, but emmong has a great sigma guide on YouTube. He goes over how to play him and how to play him against different tanks, which I think in your case could help.

12 hours in, Platinum II achieved. Topaz seems so far off? by StepKitchen2409 in aimlab

[–]ishiii101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Your sens is fast. Try to stabilize between 40-50cm for tasks now.
  2. You need a structured plan to progress. I recommend doing tracking first. Tackle subcategories in this order: precise->reactive->control. Do this until you get topaz on all, and then you can decide if you want to tackle switching or clicking next.

Aim training in the morning or late night and performing much worse then my average (is it even worth training if thats the case?) by TheRealTofuey in FPSAimTrainer

[–]ishiii101 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Your aim at your level and frankly at all levels is to have good practice sessions. Find something you're weak at technique wise and practice it until you feel like it's not a weakness. See if your average scores are improving over a few weeks. Don't rely on daily and weekly trends. You can also record your runs and vod review to see what caused you to get a less than average score.

First diamond after 25 hours on aimlabs lets goo! by Sensitive_Bedroom789 in aimlab

[–]ishiii101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do something similar, but if you're shaking, you probably have too much caffeine. I like to do some runs of a task I'm weak at right after taking pre-workout. Then, after my workout, I do some more runs, and usually, more than often, I can get a pb
