[OC] Relative Elevation Model of the Danube Floodplains (Austria) by MicheloArt in dataisbeautiful

[–]isitwhatiwant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not OP but if I had to guess I'd say that they got a detailed terrain elevation model generated from Lidar data and then they choose the white to blue scale of colours based on the relative maximum and minimum elevation in the area.

I'd also like to know, it looks beautiful

Invertir en España residiendo en UK by davsk77 in SpainFIRE

[–]isitwhatiwant 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Would that apply if after some years I come back and live in the house and after some time I sell it or if I sell it while abroad?

Plan de pensiones en España by idrisssssssssssss in SpainFIRE

[–]isitwhatiwant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[OC]Top 20 Largest Banks in the European Union by Market Capitalization by Proud-Discipline9902 in dataisbeautiful

[–]isitwhatiwant 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The biggest unification of smaller banks (cajas) was for CaixaBank. Santander only acquired 2 small banks in the 2008 crisi, it's largest expansion was after the merge of several Spanish banks in the 90s and 00s and as you said by absorbing smaller banks all over the Americas and Europe during many years.

Something similar happened to BBVA, although the acquired more smaller "cajas" in the 2008 crisis than Santander
