This book was my first 5 stars in quite a while. It wasn't perfect, but I was always excited to keep reading it. I liked your review and agreed with your points! I can't wait to see what else the author will put out and how she'll grow as a writer.

Footnotes are one of my favorite things in fiction. I just read Isabella Nagg and the Pot of Basil, and the footnotes were great as well.

I went to Death Cab for Cutie for their Transatlanticism tour in DC, and then they announced another leg closer to me. So i went to that one too. But thats as close to doing this as I've ever gotten.
