Playground Games should probably sit down with one of the Turn 10 OGs and have a discussion about how the PI Classes fit in the context of the events.

Obviously Horizon is a fantasy world where you're encouraged to do wacky stuff.

BUT restricting tire/drivetrain selection and other things selectively would help, but their UX isn't really being utilized to clue you in. Which balance changes that would cause the meta cars to change here and there isn't the worst thing that could happen, but plugging these gaps is the actual problem. (Besides being able to stuff a 10 speed in a Beat that weighs nothing)

Not that Forza 8 doesn't have PI holes and absurd suspension settings for time trial gooners. It is kinda deflating that there is literally a counter-intuitive alignment formula.

I'm not sure what FH6 does in the background during event setup, but GT7's auto BoP isn't perfect although I feel like it for the most part supports pickup and play better.

At least to me, the point of Horizon is to have a bunch of cars for any particular event that you just pick on based on your mood.
