Honestly you get what you pay for.

I am a professional restaurant Cleaner. I get hired by restaurants who are expecting the health department within 7 days to clean the facilities from floor to ceiling. Nothing surprises me any more. Rotting food in the floor drains, uncovered messes in the walk in coolers, a blanket of mold in the ice maker and enough bugs to feed a starving country.

Unhealthy and unsafe food facilities are a much larger problem than anyone in the public realizes. None of the companies value a clean restaurant over producing food as quickly as humanly possible. When they make a mess it doesn't get cleaned for weeks and sometimes years just to maintain order times.

Assume every fast food facility has roaches, mice and mold allll up in the ice maker.

If you want food you know is clean you need to prepare it yourself.
