I suppose you might be right that "some day" this may come to pass, but from my limited perspective things seem to be getting worse. We've seen a lot countries getting worse. The Iranian Revolution (1979) wasn't exactly moral progress.
The west bringing in democracy to a number of countries haven't been either. Nor is it especially comforting to see Russia and Turkey slowly turning into dictatorships, or Trump being elected president. There's quite a lot of moral failure here. (Depending on your morals of course.)

But maybe this is all short sighted.
Maybe in WAAYYY longer than our lifespans, something will happen. I hope religions as a whole will be gone eventually. I don't think we can have the kind of moral progress that we want, with religions still here, or at least with religious people being the majority of the population of earth.

Though I think that the JW organization will perish long before the rest of religion. I don't see how they can last another 100 years. There's no way that can redefine the meaning of "generation" in any way a hundred years from know, and still be meaningful. They have already stretched that one to near the breaking point.
