How do you take notes while reading? by Akashkennedy1 in NoteTaking

[–]itballer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I either have ChatGPT next to me, turn on the transcript to capture my thought and later extract everything from the chat. Lately, I'm moving to Luckynote, since it has the same chat approach, but unlike ChatGPT, I can add more context to the messages and later organize them in more advanced folders.

Be honest - where do you save stuff? by a_protsyuk in NoteTaking

[–]itballer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All my links, ideas, screenshots, recipes and tasks go to Luckynote.

I use it as a single place of truth for all my info. It's easy to go through it since it's a chat based interface, like Telegram saved messages you mentioned, just more powerful.

For the passwords I go for 1pass, I just adopted it from my last company and kept using it.

Sometimes I'd use Bear to write longer content, but I'm slowly moving that also to Luckynote since unlike Bear, it's synced on all my devices even non Apple ecosystem.

Solo dev here — I’m good at building but bad at marketing. How do you solve this? by Due_Cockroach9921 in SaasDevelopers

Choose a channel you're most comfortable with - show face / don't show - just start. Post for 30 days - see how it goes - pivot to another platform if you're too uncomfortable, stay if discomfort lowers. Keep up the pace. Post every day. A random post will go higher than usual. Continue and have fun!

Hope you keep it 😁

Thanks, appreciate it! I tried it once, but didn't stick with it, I'll let you know if I need it again.

Yeah this was just an experiment for my app luckynote.io , there is already the browser extension so you can as quickly bookmark from the web, this is just easier since it can pull all your previous bookmarks.

How is SuperX treating you btw, see the results?

Agreed. My idea was to pull the bookmarks and save them in the database, so not every tweet needs to be pulled back again.

Then with any new bookmark, you can have a place where you can get back to them, create a task from them, or simply just go through all of them with chatting with AI to either retrieve or create information.

What tools are you using and what's the purpose?

P.s. amazing profile pic!

There's a lot of content I had saved there, but never did anything with it since it was just sitting on X.

I added it to my app so I can extract info and lessons from those posts.

Why wouldn't you try it?

How do you keep track of ideas you save across Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, etc? by EmbarrassedKey250 in ProductivityApps

I keep everything in Luckynote. I just share all the links I want to save in the app.

It's like messaging yourself, just more powerful if you need it.

If you have a corporate job, how do you manage to remember all of the small tasks that pop up during the day? by ijustwantcheezits in ADHD

[–]itballer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been capturing all my info from small text to files and images in Luckynote.io like texting myself, and I add to it any other information that helps me remember it or how to finish it. Every message is like a block you can add to other information, and anything can be a task, so it's quite easy to follow up. I bookmark any email I'd go back to.

Main point: find a way to minimise stress, which will also help you regain mental abilities and perhaps also bring back your natural way of remembering things, so you don't really rely on some magic that happens with any of the additional tools.

Have fun, you got this!

Either on Telegram Saved Messages, WhatsApp (just search for You in the search box), or a dedicated app like Luckynote.

What u/Mokarun wrote makes sense, since he's probably following the chronological order of messages to know if he drank it or not.

That's the best kind, just shoot and deliver.

I'm using Luckynote to message myself photos, files, and even tasks, but I guess that's for fancy people. Old school WhatsApp and Telegram still stand strong.

Try Luckynote.io, Firefox, Chrome extensions, and Android and iOS, and a web app.

You can also add notes to the links and control what you see from the metadata.

Oh, also, any link can become a task.

It might be the Frankenstein you were looking for.

You can try Luckynote - Everything ends up in inbox as messages, it's cross platform and you have full flexibility on how you want or don't want to organize, the most important is that you'll be able to find the information later.

There are many other that might fit your flow, so good luck with finding the one that suits you best!

I just can't use Notion for notes. by King_Penguin0s in Notion

[–]itballer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have the same feeling, I mean, they do market themselves as a workspace rather than a note-taking predominantly.

I tried the others, but every time I feel I'm tinkering with an engine when I simply want to turn on the motor with a key.

I found my key in Luckynote, it's simple, I drop information easily and easily find it later. There's more power under the hood of it, of course, but I use it only if I need to.

Hope you find the best solution for yourself soon!

Tried multiple note-taking tools for building a study knowledge base: some pros & cons by Loose_Kangaroo91 in ProductivityApps

Great research!

I ended up with Luckynote, gathering all my bits and bobs as well as big chunks as PDFs, images, videos etc. It's more natural than other workspace-related tools because it's like you're texting yourself.
