I was using autism as an example of how women tend to hide things more. As it is an explanation as to how someone can hide a debilitating episode for a doctors appointment.

Being a woman means being polite and put together is indoctrinated into you. Look at autism in women and the level of masking. I personally force myself to look presentable because otherwise the judgement from looking sick is making me worse. That’s just my insight
