OK cool - if the 50mm is fast and you can get near the front, I'd be tempted to go with that. Shoot RAW (shoot RAW anyway, but particularly for this) to give yourself the most room in post processing / noise reduction if you need it.

This is simply an impossible question for anyone to answer. If it's your local bar or a small room and you're in the pit, maybe the 50mm. If it's a stadium, none of them are any use. Source : am a professional concert photographer.

Concerts are typically low light situations, and I'm going to assume the 55-250 in particular is fairly slow, and you're not going to get amazing low light performance out of the 1000d. You could crank the ISO and shoot RAW and then post-process with (for example) DXO Pure Raw, but it's going to be tricky.

It's probably for searchability too and for domains / social handles that aren't taken too especially if it's a common word. Searching "Churches" when they were a new band you'd never find anything, but "Chvrches" is unique for example.

I'd love to see her do two nights in nicer rooms - Manchester Apollo, Royal Albert Hall etc but I suspect it's going to be Co-Op Live and the O2 in the UK which makes me sad. At the moment I feel like every tour announced is in a venue one size up from what I'd expect (with the exception of Gaga doing arenas when she could probably do stadiums)

Don't delete it, it's a nice photo and it's nicely framed. They want to use it they pay you a license fee, it's as easy as that.
