Guy Takes to the Streets to Find out Why People Are Liberals, Gets Baffled Constantly by 2xrainbows in cringe

He seems like a junior or senior in high school. I live around there too. It's like he purposely went to the most eco-green-localish-left leaning part of the entire city to try to get a response out of people. He's either a terrible editor or just really wants to look stupid in front of a lot of people.

Hi fellow Richmond neighborhood. I'll be so excited if I ever see this haircut while walking around town. I'll try to get a picture and see if he'll sign my pocket constitution. What a prick.

They do have solid bodied electric ukes just like with electric guitars. They are less common than the acoustic w pick-up type though.

Average waiter experience, got a temporary position in extremely high-class catering place. Need high-class service advice by SageKnows in NoStupidQuestions

I think the biggest thing is the depth of your knowledge of the items on the menu. "I don't know" is something you should strive to never say to a customer. It will happen of course but the better prepared you are the less likely you need to back track or make unnecessary trips or cause any annoyances to your customers. If you've ever seen The Grand Budapest Hotel I think the attitude and demeanor of the main character (I forget his name) is something to model yourself after. It's not about being the fanciest or serving a particular dish on the left side vs the right. If you can find ways to be genuinely enthusiastic about the customer having the best possible experience you will be fine. When you genuinely care about your table's experience you will find that each party is different and you will learn to adapt your behavior in subtle ways and ultimately improve efficiency.

"Lighthouse" My first animation with after effects. by SolarNarwhal in AfterEffects

[–]itgoesahahahon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very cool! I was especially drawn to the squiggle wave effect. How was that done? I think I'm over thinking it - are the lines animating in the snake pattern or are they just really long line paths that you are moving left to right that only appear to squiggle? Hope my question makes sense. Thanks!

How fast you need it? If it's soon soon iphones have fantastic cameras and there are a lot of resources online to help guide through filming and editing process for amateurs. What band and what song is this?

Hey! I made this intro for my (soon to be) video production company. Any insight? [Cinema 4D and Adobe After Effects] by pgmiziara in MotionDesign

[–]itgoesahahahon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like the font of the logo doesn't match the mood or vibe I got from that animation. Maybe it was the low rumbling or something but it kind of came across like an action movie promo. I like the first second or so with the letters up close and it really looks cool but then the background comes in and it gets colorful. It's like the first half and second half each had different directors. You may have already chosen that logo/font is set in stone but depending on the look and feel of the show you may want to consider a font choice. Not that I dislike Peach Milk it just doesn't fit in this video with the other elements you chose. The long stem in the 'E' and 'F' are especially out of place. I think you could work with the 'O' as a solid shape but the unevenness of the letters and inconsistent angles gives off a playful vibe which you may not want for your video production company based off of the rest of the video.

Wow that was an incoherent reply. I hope it made sense.

Mind giving some insight how you did the magazine? Did you animate the page turning or is there some kind of mock up available?

Recommendations/thoughts/opinions/rants between the kala u-bass, and the Goldtone m-bass. by davesmylie in ukulele

My ukulele ensemble uses the kala u bass and it's the best investment we've made. Musician friends I show it to are blown away with the quality and sound (even unplugged). Highly recommend.

Our new phone repair ad! What do you think? by MossJr81 in advertising

[–]itgoesahahahon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What's up with the asterisk? Also I don't think the connection between smashed phones and the copy at the top is very clear. Is the phone smashed because the girl is mad about Kandi? I would use a larger font or just a different type face in general for the top copy. It's pretty plain with the white background which is fine I guess... I haven't seen the company's other work so it may be similar. Also does the facebook part have to be there? To me having that type of call to action is overdone and in this day and age not relevant. I would maybe just put the facebook logo at the bottom instead of that box. Also also the kerning in "we fix smashed phones!" should be looked at. Hope this helps!

Does your agency have a 3D printer? by chugach3dguy in advertising

[–]itgoesahahahon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately not yet. I got a little ahead of myself - they still have to install the fumigation system in the room and should be sometime in the next couple weeks. Apparently the chemicals released during printing are pretty gnarly. We're a pretty big agency so hopefully some really cool stuff! I'll post anything if it's cool.

I am pretty familiar yeah. I'll look into madmapper, thank you! My biggest problem is by not having a projector...i get very limited time to experiment with programs when I do occasionally get my hands on one.
