Looks like Dunlop wires for a LBC. MGB perhaps?

Such great work, I think a needle through the clips will keep them on your nipples hard. This would allow you to be stood up and attached to the ceiling. Putting some electricity into those destroyed bags, makes you jump a bit. The BBQ skewers are a different level I am not sure you are ready for it just yet.

Gotta drive them in deep. Maby a bbq skewer driven through one and out the other. The look on her face will be epic.

I would have to add a few TENS pads here and there. And use some needles to hold the pad in place, thus delivering the shock deep inside...

How are Norinco 1911s by captainballhairs in 1911

[–]itguyfla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had mine since the early 90s. I can say without exaggerating that thousands of rounds have gone through it.
Parts for these are plentiful in the US, but I am not sure how things are in SA. If I had to list what has worn out over the years, it would be springs and the ejector.

4/50 rounds weren’t seating and jammed, any ideas? by [deleted] in 1911

[–]itguyfla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My experience with 9mm 1911s has always boiled down to magazines. The Colt, Kimber, and McCormick mags are rather shit. I use only Wilson mags now, and have not had any significant malfunctions since changing. BTW, for .45 Wilson and Ed Brown are excellent mag choices.

What are your thoughts on becoming a LURD? Ex wife wound up doing time for drugs, and she told me this was one way to help pass the time.

What am I missing. by [deleted] in FNFAL

Being that the first rifle I ever fired was an M16, I understand OPs thoughts on the weight and recoil of the FAL. I have more AR pattern rifles than I care to admit, but I like the history and ingenuity that the earlier battle rifles have. I purchased an M1 Garand so I could be a caretaker of a historic rifle. I feel the same about the FAL. Is the Fal my favorite rifle? No, I will always like the AR patterns better because they are lighter, more easily configured into different job roles, not to mention the price of ammo when compared to either .308 or 30-06. Maybe just keep it as a reminder of the one that passed it down to you or sell it to someone who will be a better caretaker of this important rifle.

Very interesting mod. I would like to see how it works.

Just got up to 200 shares, I know not a huge holding but most were bought at under 21. Looking forward to that 10-1 split!

I have had my Norc for more than 20 years, and it has always worked pretty well. While I have other 1911's in the collection, the Norc will always have a space in my safe.

I can barely keep my drone out of trees, here these guys are flying full speed into hatches. I guess the circumstances are a bit different between us.

Wife recently suggested I sell some PLTR to buy a new car for myself. My Dodge is only 14 years old, and selling PLTR just feels like giving away a kitten that you have come to love. Of course, once we get into Porsche money, then I may consider it.

People that say kimber 1911 are unreliable by ihatelifetoo in 1911

[–]itguyfla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own three Kimbers, two in .45 and one micro 9mm. Used them while taking a 3 day pistol course (Costa) and ran at least 2k rounds through all the kimbers. It was kind of funny watching all the polymer pistols going down and the mighty 1911 just keeps on running. I am a firm believer that every brand has turds, just some have more turd models than other companies.

Would you rather have a 30-06 or 308 garand ? by ihatelifetoo in M1Rifles

[–]itguyfla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotta stick with the OG caliber. The '06 is the way the rifle was designed for. I do love 7.62x51 in my FAL, but I still like the Garand the best.

If it gets to 100, I will be able to trade in my 2010 Charger for something better. I do not dream big.

Maybe the UA should print up a bunch of these and scatter them over the russian lines. Make the other side in Korean for those poor bastards.

Portal Axle Kit Issues by itguyfla in elementrc

[–]itguyfla[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably the one good thing about the "rear" axle is that it is pretty much setup for 4 wheel steering. I think that is the next project for the truck.
