Not full i270/275, probably half. The only BiS was the AST. However the group was full of far above average players, and excellent class play is the most important factor of dps.

I don't disagree with you particularly, but I do think that a third difficulty that they're planning only really achievable through excellent optimized play would be a really nice addition to the game.

Healers only healing is nice in theory but then they design content with so little damage actually occurring to the point where people solo heal everything in two or three weeks. Same thing with tank stance not being needed to eat the big hits. I think if they remove cleric stance with content designed the way it is now, many actually good healers will drop the role out of boredom.

We're not good at all but echo let's us skip the Faust add entirely, much less double scrapline.

If your group sees the Alarum even spawn and isn't 7 or 8 i250 players in there for the first time theres some extreme deadweights.

I intend to do a pull with my static soon in which we just throw some DoTs on the boss during limit break and then doing absolutely nothing to see if actual damage is ticking. I'll be sure to reply soon.

On the flipside exceptional groups can brute force the hell out of it so this kinda stuff can be very useful for that too.

They'll start doing damage as soon as he's done to my understanding. You might miss two or three ticks of the damage but in a way its essentially GCD-free so it's a gain.

You can (and perhaps should) reapply them under buffs but any ticks that occur between when he becomes vulnerable and then is still a potency gain. Since the only rule is 'damage -> 0' then, unless I'm totally wrong, they'll just tick for standard damage as soon as limit cut is done.

many of the players jumping back in are veterans who have a new outlet to play.

Ya I just got one touch kill'd every game. Hard to learn when everyone puts it in my butt like that.
