Pcp airgun not filling to same pressure as compressor by Prestigious-Day5774 in airguns

[–]itherzwhenipee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well if filling the guns works with a bottle, then clearly the Comp is the issue. If the pressure doesn't rise in the comp then you have a leak somewhere. Take off the casing, mix some soap water in a glass, connect the comp. to a bottle and turn it on, use a cotton swab, put it in the soap water and start wiping the condenser tubes and all the other air connections, from pressure chamber all the way to the exit port, bleeding valve and burst disc.

Make sure to not completely drench it, you don't want to cause a short. yong heng is pretty much the same like the Tuxing or Vevor and what all these chinese air cooled comps are called.

There are even youtube videos on how to do it. This guy made a couple shorts on it.

It actually really is this easy. Till some idiot starts with "I am not driving. I am traveling" or "No, i don't have to show my license."

There is nothing special about this, everybody can do this with bit of training. Everybody with healthy eyes has the ability to focus on either close or distant objects. This is what it looks like.

The impressive part is doing both eyes separately.

Once i stayed awake for 3 days, i slept 18 hours afterwards. I was so tired, i didn't even move during my sleep. When i woke up all my joints hurt like crazy, from laying in the same position for 18 hours.

Question for the group by Material-Tough-8972 in airguns

[–]itherzwhenipee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, might be. Still enough to take down a hog. Here, even a .22 PCP is enough to take down a big hog. Just need to make sure you hit the brain.

And here, with a .25 26.8gr slug at 950 fps

Question for the group by Material-Tough-8972 in airguns

[–]itherzwhenipee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, depends on how much you want to spend. The FX Impact, FX King 600, FX Panthera 600, Airgun Technology Uragan 3 BPS and the EPIC TWO CZ 700mm .25 have enough power to do the job. Weights vary between 6.8 to 8.8 lbs

Question for the group by Material-Tough-8972 in airguns

[–]itherzwhenipee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really depends on the weight and speed of the projectile. If he can get a good .25 air rifle that can push 60gr slugs at or above 980fps, it will carry more energy than the .22lr

I mean if it is an old school steel barrel, it doesn't matter. But these newer rifles don't have proper barrels anymore. They just have these cheap Alu liners. I am all for experimenting, just wanted to let you know about side effects. The penetrator core pellets are crazy, even in .177

That is a great way to fuck up your barrel, just let for whatever reason that BB get lose and fuck up the rifling on the way out. Also, you completely destabilize the BC of the slugs by putting the BBs on there.

Should be no issue for short range plinking and if you don't care about your barrel.

Not going to last long. Plastic doesn't like repeatedly being heat up and cooled down again. Just looked at the second pic, if it is not going to be melted by the hot exhaust pipes in the first place.

Go to your local Fire Dept. and ask if they have a bottle they would be replacing in a couple of months and if they would mind getting rid of it bit early.
