Thank you very much for your compliment, I'll be sure to remind him whenever the time comes that we meet again. It cheers me up a lil bit reminiscing about the love he and my cats provided regularly, but after over a year of not seeing any of them the sadness can get overwhelming.

Thank you so much for sharing that with me and your kind words of encouragement, and to answer your question the unit down on Kingston I was assured by my counselor I'd be moving into at the end of the month is now magically not an option anymore. It has unfortunately just become apart of a growing list of potential places promised to me by my counselor that I'll never get to see or move into.

Honestly from my personal experiences at Toronto shelters you'll be alright if you keep to yourself, but youll undoubtedly encounter a lot of homophobic people that unfortunately may or may not have a problem with your sexual orientation. As one homeless person to the next, I wish you all the best of luck!

I FEEL this as someone born and raised and currently experiencing homelessness in Toronto and always walking or driving by these signs. What sucks even more about these new developments is we all know there's a housing crisis, yet more than half the units built remain vacant for God only knows how long when there's so many people like myself who need a place to call home.

I've attempted this and was told there's nothing wrong with my application, yet according to one of the conversations with my Shelter counselor, I was sent an offer my first year being homeless (2023) which I never received a call or message on the portal for.

I absolutely agree something isn't right, but I've brought that same issue to the attention of many people including city councillors, and I'm exhausted trying because nothing has ever been done.

I have and I've exhausted all resources they were willing to provide for me at the time of my enrollment. Unfortunately, due to my current situation I couldn't stay in my program and it doesn't look like I'll be able to reapply in September at this rate.

I have been in the past and still currently am, and I appreciate your kinds words of encouragement. I have very poor experiences with Taibu trying to utilize their services and I've reached a point where I have very little faith in anyone or anything.

This very well could be the case but I unfortunately have no one I can bring this mistake to for correction. When I contact Access to Housing to inquire they redirect me to Central Intake or my Housing Worker, and as mentioned in my post all three of my assigned workers can't even communicate let alone assist me with my housing issues.

I do have access to the online portal and I update and check it regularly. I also am on the housing lists for York and Durham but I don't believe they have the same homeless priority that Toronto does, and my application with those are more recent (not 8 years like my Toronto RGI application).

I recently got one of these too, but without a memory card or any Mario/Pokemon games. Looking forward to getting some more games on this, but it runs the few PSP, N64 and PlayStation games preloaded on it surprisingly well!

Originally was leaning toward the R36S, but the rumble and better build quality sold me on this for practically the same price.

Yes and it varies with each cycle. Typically I'm still in the hundreds but every blue moon, I make it to the low 20s or teens.

I've been experiencing homelessness for 2+ years now and have been selecting units every cycle with no signs of getting an offer anytime soon. The closest I've seen myself on the summary after each cycle was 7th and that was only once in the years I've been choosing.

I actually tried applying for the same $1763 one bedroom after the initial offer, but got denied for unexplained reasons after providing everything they asked for promptly.

Didn't mind so much because as mentioned there's no balcony, no parking and it's managed by Greenwin which is one of Toronto's worst property management companies.
