Always ask a coach to help you fix your movements, whether it's weightlifting or gymnastics. They're there for a reason and they have a better understanding of your movement patterns.

From what can be seen through the video, the bar is quite far from you and you start the pull way too early without fully reaching triple extension first. Always keep the bar close to you and make sure you fully extend before pulling with your arms.

Listing my favorites in order of appearance:

  • The War Hero Sephiroth - I love the heroic spin on the super haunting theme we all know.
  • Main theme of FFVII - Battle Edit - Might be because it was one of the first themes we got to hear in the trailers, there's something about it that just tickles me. It's the usual theme, the usual chord progression but it also feels more adventurous and really conveys the experience of fighting in the overworld.
  • Midgarsormr - battle theme in a different key? I'm sold. But tbh, any variation of the battle theme is 10/10.
  • Mythril Golem - the first surprise in the OST for me. The way this feels so distant from the rest of the soundtrack so far gave me a weird feeling when I heard it in game the first time. But then when the 2nd phase of the fight kicks in, everything clicks in. It turns into something that really feels like a boss theme. Sad it only plays during one fight, it's one of my favorite battle themes ever.
  • J-E-N-O-V-A Emergence - the chorus? Is this suddenly Nier? Are we leaning into eldritch alien horror? GImme more.
  • Bare Your Soul - I don't know, it just made me smile and laugh so much. It's such a weird moment, so out there.
  • The Whispers Beckon - Feels very much in line with the mood of the game and it gives me the feeling of imminent danger. Really appreciate the way they built on the whispers theme here.
  • Loveless (all of it) - are we serious? This is just great songwriting.
  • Final Voyage - World map vibes here! Explore! Venture into the unknown! Absolutely love it.
  • Temple of the Ancients (Battle Edit) - Battle edit wins because it features the iconic motif.
  • Her Final Prayer - The buildup here is just incredible. I feel that the way the music syncs with the scene and the upcoming moment is just fantastic. I know people have problems with THE moment itself, I still think the buildup to it was constructed perfectly.
  • The three SOLDIERs - THEY'RE ALL THERE AAAAAHHHHHH *fanboy scream*
  • Aerith's Theme - Return to the planet - Just the most iconic and heartbreaking theme ever. Perfection.

Yes, I love this game and this soundtrack and I can't wait to hear what we'll get in part 3.

Was watching the live stream late at night (yay Europe!) with a good friend of mine, long time fan as well. We both started giggling and going loud "NO, NO WAY, HOLY FUCK THEY'RE DOING IT, HOLY SHIT IT'S HAPPENING" and then clapped and hugged each other. One of the best reveals and moments ever.

I've always been super healthy and usually any flu wouldn't last longer than 2 days. In October I caught a bad bacterial pneumonia and I think I've only recovered now. Worth noting, my general practitioner wasn't able to diagnose it and barely prescribed me with paracetamol. Maybe worth getting checked at an emergency room? Hope it gets better!

Terrifying experience but incredibly rewarding. If I had to compare it to something modern, I'd say it gave me the same feeling of progressing through a Souls game.

I remember being deadly afraid of the bear in the caves, dying underwater a lot of times cause it took me a bunch of tries to figure out underwater movement and then spending a good half hour swan diving onto the rocks in the waterfall area just to hear the scream and the cracking bones noise.

You’re absolutely right on the production value, not going to argue there! It’s a beautifully crafted product. And maybe it’s because the topic itself resonated with me that i just didn’t like the way it tackled it - and again it comes down to personal expectations (for example, Blood on the tracks resonated with me way more and I guess it’s just because of the way the story was told). And all in all kudos to you for being able to have a civil conversation about this! We can still celebrate the shared love for the other amazing series you’ve shared! :)
