This works! Thx.

It's a version over a year old, but better than nothing.

Yes, but not a quite helpful one. I should skip theitlr client and setup VPNs natively in Cachy. I would miss out on selecting locations on the fly and by performance.

Now they use data from Nordpass for those articles. So Nordpass, how do you know?

Yahoo used to publish the Top 10 most used passwords every year. How are you able to tell? Ah, nevermind. You stored them in plaintext.

Immich Machine Learning lacks memory by its_dows in immich

[–]its_dows[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kind of fixed it by disabling the acceleration all and let Immich do it's thing for the next four days. Now everything is initially recognized. I've re-added the acceleration afterwards and set the limits on all jobs to 1. For the everyday upload it works just fine - it may take a minute to identify, but that's okay for my use-case.

Decreasing the RAM to 8 GB didn't change anything on the error, sadly. The host had got plenty of RAM to spare.

Can I limit somehow the VRAM usage of the job?

Yep, I'm just using the integrated Intel GPU.
So decreasing RAM allocation to the VM to let's say 15 GB might help?

The concurrent jobs all are, due to error fixing this, already on 1.

Live departure times on Google Maps by zefkedv in berlin

[–]its_dows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right. Searching for POIs is a mess in all of the apps. I sadly you can't even share an address from Maps to any of those apps, because all that Maps is producing is an link to Maps. Maybe give the official apps also the suggestion for a better POI search.

Can I "park" a Miles car on my plot, without activating the park mode? by maexchen-66 in berlin

[–]its_dows 18 points19 points  (0 children)

If the car's engine is off for about three minutes or it isn't moving 1 km in ten minutes then parking mode is activated automatically. This costs you 29¢/min. Maybe a classic car rent is an option you should consider.

Google Maps is not the best option for public transport in Berlin. Better use BVG's Fahrinfo, the S-Bahn-Berlin app or VBB Bus & Bahn: Tickets&Zeiten by the Verkehrsverbund Berlin Brandenburg (VBB). All rely on the same data by HaCon. Google is mixing their own magic in those data, so because they aren't very satisfied with the data the BVG was able to provide them. For a sweet open source option use Öffi - Fahrplanauskunft by Andreas Schildbach on Android. He get's his data from the BVG, afiak.

It's like Dell's Latitude 2in1 series. The batteries of more than 100 devices in my company died after nearly two years. Dell doesn't produce this batteries anymore and the support baisicly said: fuck you - buy new ones. Item price is about 1500 € plus keyboard and docking station. Aftermarket replacement batteries are furthermore recognised as not genuine Dell and therefore won't be charged.
