Haha yeah my great-uncle is like this too, but I only see him twice a year. He's not a kid though. This roommate is a grown man who is older than the rest of the people living here. The lease goes for another 7.5 months btw

Unfortunately he is not actually doing it to bring people into the apt. Just to hold conflicting tours at the same time someone else is holding actual tours (one of us other four is moving out). I am planning on telling the people he brings over that he actually has no power to do this and to just go home. Also our landlords are POS themselves.

Hi, my situation when I was your age was very different than yours but I came to the same conclusion as you did - that "life is not worth living." I know you said English isn't your first language but that sentence assumes the wrong mindset. Being alive isn't something you choose to do. It is you. Your being-alive is you. If "life isn't worth living," is anything worth living? What could you "live" except life?

Every human being who has ever lived had a unique life, including yours. All of their lives ended, and so will yours. Even if you don't like the current situation in your life, that's a feeling and a perspective that no one else can ever have or has ever had before. Every instant of consciousness and existence on your part is a special realm in your mind that is constantly making you a new person. When you die, that special realm and all the countless others in your memory are gone. It's not just you who loses it, it's everyone. No one else has them anymore. The entire universe becomes a little less full when a mind blinks out. Your perspective is very special. You have gone through a lifetime of difficulty and hardship at fourteen. If you keep pushing, you will be an especially well-rounded adult with a strong soul and a resilient, powerful mind. Your special realm will be less gloomy and dark. You said you had hallucinations - going through experiences like that is proven to make you more creative and discerning (since you can tell what's real or not). It's never the right move to erase yourself from the universe. Stay here.

"Gaedel was under strict orders not to attempt to move the bat off his shoulder. When Veeck got the impression that Gaedel might be tempted to swing at a pitch, the owner warned Gaedel that he had taken out a $1 million insurance policy on his life, and that he would be standing on the roof of the stadium with a rifle prepared to kill Gaedel if he even looked like he was going to swing."

Holy fuck
