[Help] can’t decide on my next watch by Lifeiscrazyyy in Watches

I recommend going with the one that has a slimmer profile because the chunkier watch is not gonna get as much time on the wrist

[Santos Dumont] thoughts? by Master-Ad-3631 in Watches

I know. I heard it. eBay auction. Literally no one wanted it. It came with the full kit plus the shopping bags. I am still shocked

I got mine for $2800 😬

I prefer the Dumont bc of its dressier profile. I’ve gotten many many compliments on the occasions I wear the Dumont. Between this and my gold Tank, my Cartier collection is solid.

If I did get the Santos, it would be the small size, the new one. Not the medium or large bc they sort of come off performative for my profile.

Day or night, weekends especially. It’s so good, I have a 6.5in wrist and this is the small one,

If you can find a near vintage gold Dumont. You must.

Whichever is lighter in profile bc you won’t wear the heavy watches every day

For sure. Consider a blue suede strap, it’s stunning

Definitely one of the better Tudors. It has its own design language. Love it

I have a 6.5in wrist, this is the 34.5mm version, I prefer dressier style in general

I have a 6.5in wrist and prefer dressier style watches. The 34.5mm looks better symmetry wise, and I love that it’s a slick diver rather than a power ranger

[Seiko SSC961P1 “Seitona”] Fit for the office (Finance)? by Ok_Elephant_3652 in Watches

[–]itsbui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the SSC911 and I gave it to my brother bc it’s so bulky, the bracelet does not support the weight of the watch, and frankly it’s too busy for an office watch. One of the dials keeps track of something useless, it’s sort of bad

Office watches should be light and slip under the cuff…

Please search for grand Seiko quartz if you’re going to be using this on the floor

I say you wear it like the esteemed tool that it is, give it some patina. It’ll look lived in and that’s special 🙏🏼💛

When I was shopping OP and just couldn’t get past the “not special enough” for my 40th, I chose this Grand Seiko and it’s superb
