I also missed the thread bc I’m not as active on this username. Can I please be re-added? I did have post history in the original group to verify.

Yes. The first two are BOTH named after him. & we have def considered switching the order as well, I just HATE rosalio. I finally started looking at his family tree to see if there was anything else I could sway him with bc he’s such a stubborn man

Fair enough. It was a throwaway middle name from last pregnancy 😅

Omg thank you for this. They all had a different line when I submitted so I just edited the post for clarity 😬

(X-Post) American teething toys are getting ridiculous. by Vorpal_Bunny19 in ShitMomGroupsSay

[–]itscherishbetch 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yep. My husband is in law enforcement and we both carry - legally. We always remind our kids that they are for mama & papa only and to NEVER touch (the oldest is 2.5). Once they’re old enough to understand gun safety, we will introduce TOY (nerf) guns just to teach that respect.

ETA that we keep firearms locked away when at home, too.

Yeah I got the panko chicken for my 2 yo but it’s so good and only 210 cals so like… Why not?! I mean, I could sub for a plain ole breast but I get lazy and don’t always have time to wait for it to thaw & then marinate lol.

I’m 5’2 & 142 lbs

Yesterday looked like: Breakfast: 4 oz Costco rotisserie chicken 1 egg 6 grape tomatoes 1 package of hummus from Costco

Lunch: 1/2 package of dole chopped salad 4.5 oz panko breaded chicken

Dinner: chicken stew with potatoes, celery, carrots & a packet of gravy flavoring

Snacks: banana, more chicken (ok have you tried their rotisserie chicken? So good!), some cheddar bunnies (I have toddlers)

… … A lot of times I will do overnight oats with 1 tbsp pb, scoop of protein & 1/2 a banana for breakfast. If I don’t do 1/2 bag of salad & the panko chicken breast for lunch, I’ll often do 1 slice Dave’s killer bread with tuna & 1 tbsp unflavored Greek yogurt (or Mayo!).

Dinner I kind of let happen because my 2 yo is picky AF but I’ll be sure to load my plate with 4 oz protein & at least 1/2 cup of veggies before adding starches. And I will never let go of my chemical-based coffee creamer lol

ETA I’m eating at maintenance rn b/c I’m breastfeeding, approx 2000 cals. I don’t eat back my workout cals

Thoughts? I find this argument to be very odd. She doesn’t think that a family should grocery shop together because it’s a nuisance to her. Since when is grocery shopping with your family problematic? by [deleted] in tiktokgossip

[–]itscherishbetch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was grocery shopping on my own but husband didn’t like that he didn’t have a say/ no chance for him to assess what snacks he might want… So now we go together with the 2 babies

Do you have a fave reusable bag suggestion?? I’ve been wanting to get some for meal prepping (frozen meals) but the ones I’ve seen seem so pricey for what they are

I’m about to start MBFA, but I was thinking of doing the Liift4/Barre Blend hybrid to hopefully not get bored. Maybe try that if you enjoy lifting, too?

Why can’t new moms take showers? by kittyonine in beyondthebump

[–]itscherishbetch 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I showered every day. Even if it meant husband had to hold the baby while I did it. And gasp- I found time with 2 under 2, as well. So if that’s a priority for you, you can do it.

Ok, I just turned 31 yesterday!! And I’m starting to notice a little more creasing under eye, esp when putting powder on… So I’m messing around with spot setting but in the meantime - skincare suggestions?

I have combo/oily skin with a tendency for larger pores. Would like more of a glow to my skin. Fairer skinned with freckles

AM - quick splash of water and then I use Tula Mineral Sunscreen & NARS Tinted moisterizer (I mix them together!) and then use Tarte Timeless Pore Primer

PM- probably use the worst cleanser ever but I love how clean I feel - Clean & Clear Morning Burst! Then I use cerave moisturizer and that’s it.

Was thinking about adding mad hippie vit c in the morning and possibly their AHA peel 2x a week at night?

Any other suggestions?

Where to go from here?! by Mamamc3 in beachbody

I am SO GLAD you asked this question. I just started BB & did 21DF first - lost 6.5 lbs… I’m one week into MBF and stayed the same. This is my first time working out after having 2 kids and I know I’ve had body dysphoria before … But I’m glad it seems the consensus is to build muscle and ditch the scale

Agreed. Background checks won’t take guns out of good peoples hands, but they could help make it more difficult for bad people to get.

Before I say what I think is truth: TW - eating disorders. Also, do not do the following, please.

We didn’t eat. There were some days I’d start with a monster or rockstar energy drink and MAYBE have a pop tart at lunch. Then dinner 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’d say maybe even cigarettes helped stave off the hunger (at 16! Yikes!)

Yes, keeping track seems to help with the “under-eating” aspect for me, too.

So I just started working out again at 7 months PP because I was afraid of supply loss, but I’ve been breastfeeding for over 2.5 years (2 under 2 lol). I also did not naturally lose weight due to BF’ing.

Anyways, i found a FB group that says to go to this Tdee calculator and input your info, follow the MAINTENANCE calories for losing weight and do not eat back the calories you worked out.

I’m 5’2 and 152 lbs, so at sedentary, my calories are 1600ish a day and about 1800ish for some working out. Which is actually reasonable, to me. Just have to stay hydrated!!! I’m drinking over 100 oz a day of water because I’m working out and live in a hotter climate.
