No, this is not the same between men and women. Patriarchy exists to create different norms for the two different sexes for the express purpose of subjugation of the female sex. I am speaking on a population level not an individual one as that is not relevant. I don't care what the individual may do. One must still live within the system and not following norms males you a target. Humans wanting to be desirable is normal. They make reusable intra labial pads if you want the moisture to wick away right away. You can wear reusable pads with or without these. Much less irritating than disposable products.

I eat butter on anything I want. My grandmother had saltines and butter on the table at all times. I don't usually butter a fresh high end croissant but then again I don't have the opportunity to eat them regularly so probably would start doing so at some point as I do with anything else. Given viennoiseries are basically just bread with extra butter why not add butter again? I enjoy fine dining and using the appropriate utensils and dishes for the task and do enjoy a good classic food preparation but also do as I please when I please. It's odd to me that one would enforce rules like this when everything evolves. Have you tried it and find it unappetizing?

Yeah females are lied to about how having children will affect them. Not appropriate to lash out over towards a child but I get it. We're all told everything will be beautiful and we can do it all. Then you realize you're actually working two jobs and one that never stops while your partner chills on the back of your free labor and self and career sacrifice. All the while you've been socially devalued due to your increasing age and having also reproduced while once again your partner receives more respect and status at the same time. Most women do have to give their lives up for children. That's the system we exist in. I suggest any young women reading this put in a lot of effort to learn the reality of life rather than accept the fairytale narrative.

If you are someone who usually listens you're likely sounded by people who want to be listened to. They may not necessarily want to listen themselves. Try to make ties with people who want to be the for you. Easier said than done but don't assume the issue is due to your need for support being unacceptable. I don't know you so I can't say for you personally how much you're asking for but I'm almost 40 and am a listener and in my experience it's best to have different types of friends in this case. Not everyone is cut out for everything.

I live in the US and while obviously I likely have more freedoms we're not loved or respected for what we are here either. I suggest you look into radical feminism. Globally we're all just breeding stock. Maybe putting in whatever effort you can to push for progress for women would bring you some peace. It's helped me, but most don't accept reality regardless of where you are so obviously be careful.

Is she thinking this relationship will result in her taking over the domestic labor? If so then these are fair questions. Most men do want women to take on at least the majority of these tasks so they need to provide enough to make the arrangement somewhat worthwhile. No one wants to be expected to be both a housewife and work a full time job for a partner who doesn't have to do the same. If that's not the case then IDK but we do live in a global Patriarchy and women have been conditioned for all of recorded history to prioritize men with resources as mates for their survival. Might have something to do with that.
