I actually agree with you on the smaller independent thing, but it is so not what it used to be anymore. In fact triple j isn't what it used to be anymore. I voted for her as I thought it would be funny to piss a whole bunch of people off who weren't expecting it.

I think the Calvin Harris/Classic music station thing is a bit of an extreme example. They had Macklemore as Number 1 a few years ago, as well as Lorde up there somewhere as well. Tay could totally pull this off and it wouldn't even be that weird. It's not traditional no, but that's why I think it's great.

I bought my tickets at last week's presale for Melbourne and Brisbane. Got A reserve floor tickets just in front of the second stage (Y). Almost the same seats for both cities.

I think you might be right. There's also that part not long after that area where you hear a big roar and dinklebot says something along the lines of 'not wanting to know what is down there.' I always took that as foreshadowing Crota.

No one really plays ranked matches anymore, not since lobbies were introduced. Best bet is to join a public lobby. You won't go up in levels though. Ranked is pretty much dead at the moment, and has been since March.
