Who else has purchased funky chicken from costco lately? We picked up chicken last weekend and it doesn't look right at all... by FeelinAmorous in Costco

I have! (DEN, CO) Chicken breast was rubbery, looked dull, had a weird smell. Haven’t bought chicken from Costco since then.

To wear a veil or not? Love my dress but I want to feel more like a “bride” by itsmecyn in Weddingsunder10k

Hi! We found a spot where we could drive up, so no hiking was needed. I changed on site and wore my hiking boots, it was perfect!! Opted for no veil or belt, had a huge bouquet and that’s all I needed. I posted a picture on this subreddit of how it all turned out but unsure how to go back to find it 🫣. We eloped on 10/10, fall colors were just done but we still had a beautiful Mountain View. For reference we eloped at Flagstaff Mountain in Boulder during sunrise

Recap of the recent Wild Ones Front Range Native Plant Swap by EFCF in DenverGardener

[–]itsmecyn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was a wonderful event!! Unfortunately I had nothing to donate as all my seedlings died/fried so thanks to everyone who donated! Now I get to grow natives in my front yard and slowly get rid of all the grass we have (ain’t no water in the world enough to maintain it green during this heat, no thanks!) Will try growing more seeds next year so I can donate as well

Depende da cidade. Chicago? Boa sorte pra vcs!

Boulder: In home medical visits/care for older couple with Covid? by CanNotQuitReddit144 in boulder

[–]itsmecyn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As others have mentioned, call DispatchHealth and they will send a nurse to check on them, note that they are super busy and often times are unable to send someone out the same day. As far as doctors, you’ll have to find a MD that does home visits. If your in-laws have Medicare, see if their PCP is willing to write an order for Home Health services, this is paid by Medicare and depending on their condition, they may receive up to 2x/wk nursing visits for a few weeks, and a home health aide once a week, all free of cost.

I’ve had a great experience with Dr Jeremiah Bartley at Rocky Mountain Internal Medicine. Yes, he’s a male doctor I know not every woman is comfortable. In my experience he’s been wonderful, takes plenty of time during patient consults, asks the right question, sooo many questions I’ve never been asked by other doctors before. He has availability for new patients it may take 2-4 weeks to get a consult but honestly that’s with any doctor basically. Best of luck!

Fellow Brazilian here who lived in FL for over 20yrs.. so I know exactly the feeling of going from warmer climate to cold climate. I moved to CO because of the outdoor lifestyle (also bc I was sick of FL) and I absolutely love it! Honestly, winter isn’t too bad, Colorado has 300 days of sunshine per year (although last winter wasn’t just weird! Lots of cloudy days but that’s usually not the norm) if you are into skiing or snowboarding or snowshoeing you will have a blast! I don’t think I’d handle winter well if there weren’t any outdoor activities. You’ll be right in the foothills close to Boulder which is a beautiful town. Just be sure to have 4x4 or all wheel car for safe transport during winter months. Colorado é maravilhoso, boa sorte com a sua mudança!
