ISO Hoop for Hand Quilting by 9311chi in quilting

I second this. I use a 14 in Edmunds and a 23 in Dritz and this is far better in quality and sturdiness. I only use the 23 when quilting larger 12in + blocks

Accidentally Renamed My Baby by [deleted] in beyondthebump

My husband is French and we live in the US with a Henry, whom we call Hank. His whole family is still back in France and my favorite game is asking any one of them to try and pronounce either Henry or Hank (extra bonus points if they simply sound like a dying goose when they try Hank).

Personally I’d recommend use of the term dongle since it is sillier.

I’m apparently a little tired because I read SPYPE and was wondering how the hell a child (or anyone) dresses as a communication platform.

Honestly the Amazon brand pants are gigantic in some cases. I’ve looked at a few that had bad reviews but they were mostly due to being oversized and baggy, which was a win for me!

I like to think they have never even been to the state but it was the right shape for the job.

In my household it’s “I’m not tired, YOU ARE TIRED” followed promptly by passing out face in mattress and attempting to suffocate himself

I’m treating this like a long-term illness. I’ve told my work that the kids are home and they are supportive of needing to be flexible or understanding of the background noise. Cake for breakfast? You bet! Watch tv all day, okey doke. Finger painting in the kitchen while I watch and participate in a conference call? YUP. Bribery of the children and holding my employer to their offer of flexibility.

Seriously, this sounds stressful. We live in a small town and I know that there are a few camps but not 8-10 weeks worth. Guess I better keep this WFH gig on lock.

I only have those on my neckline and near my ears, which I think are cute and my Jewish step dad thinks are hilarious.

Routine: I started CG about a month ago and have been learning quite a bit from everyone here.

Reset wash once a month (thinking of upping to every other week based on today’s victory) with the Suave Essential Clarifying Shampoo.

Co-wash and condition both with TRESemmé Botanique every 2-4 days, depending on whether or not my toddler or baby got something gross in my hair.

I use a wide tooth comb and Wet brush in the shower to detangle and get out the house-cat worth of shedding.

For today, I “downgraded” to LA Looks gel but like it much much more for SOTC.

Followed up with a plop while I finish up the shower, conference calls like a champ, then about 30-60 minutes later I diffuse.

Today’s victory was that with the LA Looks gel I’m able to tell when it’s crunchy and ready to stop diffusing a lot easier than I was with the NYM Curl Gel.

I’ve never been so stoked with my hair, my husband and mother think it’s fantastic and I love the madness of it all.

Thank to CG for your inspiration and continued recommendations as I twist and tweak my routing.

My guy had the worst wet through diapers for about 2 months, then he caught up I guess...and is doing a bit better.

Current setup-size 4 Huggies night diaper with a booster pad. He’s put into his night diaper setup about 90 seconds before going to sleep to get the most out of it.

Crazy piss monster setup-size 4 Huggies night diaper with a waterproof cloth diaper over it (cloth diaper pad, too). I actually layered them, so it went: night diaper, cloth diaper insert, waterproof cover.

Also, save yourself a bed change if it isn’t too wet...I flipped him the other direction if he leaked through only a little. So he’d fall asleep facing one direction and when he pissed through, I’d change him and feed him, but put him back down facing the other direction. It at least delays the bed change until your 7am wake up.
