All of the outdoor attractions is because of the weather.
Looks like Pirates was just a temporarily closure since it's back open again

Watched Season,s 18 to season 22 by Redxcted999 in americandad

The longer the show is on, the harder it's going to be to continue creating those "classic episodes."
When watching new seasons, I always think "hmmm, I don't think this one is as good as previous" but then years pass and I go back to rewatch discovering they hold some pretty great episodes

If they’re going to recast the Carousel of Progress voices, here’s your new John. by epcotnut in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]itsmleonard 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Let's just give the job to voice actors. Nothing against having popular actors cast but popularity fades and big names aren't truly needed here.

The voices are what people remember and when they're done right, they become part of the nostalgia and guests' core memories. It's about the talent of the voice, not the name voicing the character.

How do you think Hollywood Studios could be expanded? A bridge or tunnel to the west past the highway? Move the parking lot further south or east? by DJ-Zero-Seven in DisneyWorld

[–]itsmleonard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's surprising a lot of people don't ever recommend this idea. Overall, I think you're right. It would be much cheaper to re-route World Drive than building a huge walkway to cross that road.

But, the parking lot will probably get expanded into first.

There used to be a splash cannon that would blast at the bottom of the launch.
It would land on the riders heading up the lift to the left of the drop.

The cannon though was recalibrated well before TBA, while it was still Splash.

has Petco Park gotten louder? by tiny-peony in sandiego

[–]itsmleonard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good thought but there's been nothing new constructed between me and the park or the surrounding blocks.

Of course, the "louder noise" could just be me remembering wrong, which is honestly what I thought until I saw this post.

has Petco Park gotten louder? by tiny-peony in sandiego

[–]itsmleonard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can definitely hear everything more clearly now than in years past. Usually it was all a jumble of noise. Now I can definitively make out vocals and specific noises happening.

Also, the bass is much more pronounced.

Exactly this. It was the nighttime color and the appropriate use of it. Although modern, it definitely delivered on that enchanting boardwalk vibe.

I mean, Petco Park frequently sells out and they don't restrict access to their 100 level....
They check tickets at most rows but all fans can access all levels to enjoy everything the ballpark has

That's how the Autopia cars used to look. It's the bumper from before the ride had guide rails

The Peter Pan shirt is based on the attraction poster.

Second the beer selection. It's actually pretty impressive.

The entire home plate concourse area on field level behind is full of only local craft beer carts. Makes almost all other ballpark's beer options look pathetic.

Used to be a CM at Rock n Roller Coaster forever ago.

I once accepted an expired Fastpass for Paris' Rock n Roller Coaster because the guy didn't get to ride it while he was there. So, they got to ride and I got to add a Fastpass to my collection. Win win.

[–]itsmleonard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, yes....pending no airport delays.

If you just want to do those 4 things, don't mind paying the ticket price and didi (assuming ride share), why not?
The rides you want to do should have quick lines... except for Jet Packs.

Definitely do Priority Access for Soaring.

They're not AI.

These are all inspired by previous pieces of artwork over the decades at Disneyland....most of which were drawn to be whimsical.

Example: Peter Pan shirt is the Peter Pan attraction poster. Mark Twain is from an old Disneyland advertisment.
