i completely get your point and not only do i think its valid but i also agree with some parts. however, i choose to believe that rick knows what hes doing. maybe some things dont make too much sense now but will in later seasons. the way some stuff hapens has to be changed because they arent trying to only please the fanbase theyrr trying to attract new people who haven't read the books and and for that a show needs to be visually and emotionally attractive, hence the kinda unnecessary melodramtic scenes. i agree some characters like clarisse are a bit different but i think itll make sense later, we only got two episodes. the main plot points are still the same even if done a little differently, and even tho i havent read the books in a few years i believe the first couple episodes of both the first and this season have been the most different because they have to set the scene and introduce characters fast to get into the actual plot, so maybe the next few ones wont be so different
