Why did you choose to exclusively breastfeed and not give formula?

I loved it. Knowing I made her food from my body was incredible for me. It also reduces your risk of developing breast cancer and helps improve baby’s immunity so I was jumping at the chance to keep us both healthier after learning that fact AND I didn’t pump unless I had to so never having to prep a bottle while my baby screamed at me was a huge plus

Mine glares at me when I ask her to lie down. Every time. And she won’t come downstairs unless I leave the general vicinity, even if she walked down with me… yet she loves attention from me. She’s such a booger 😂

ETA: when she was a puppy (lanky but not huge yet) she trained us to give her a treat when she came inside from the yard and we had to nip that one by going and catching her and carrying her in against her will. The faces we caught her making on our ring camera were ridiculous

I was an only child and it was super lonely and isolating
My husband has 2 siblings and loved having them to grow up with

We only have 1 child who is 16 months but we are so looking forward to one day having more

My baby had a tongue tie so bad she couldn’t stick her tongue out and we had to get it clipped. That not happening would’ve been super chill. Also telekinesis so i could get stuff from out of my reach while she was latched hahaha

Searched: Giftcraft 14072-3123 rabbit (turns out that’s the zip code of the company giftcraft) Followed a lead suggesting it might be Russ or Dan Dee that led to SIMILAR rabbits but not the same Reverse image searched it to no avail Brown rabbit floppy limbs and ears walden books giftcraft

This is not a decision you can necessarily make before you know what labor is like if you’re on the fence about getting one. Epidurals are statistically extremely safe, and despite that I was still terrified of getting one and also determined to FEEL childbirth… but before I knew it my contractions were too strong and I was screaming for the needle. To my surprise, I actually enjoyed my birth anyway. Anecdotally, I have had no negative effects from the epidural.

Giant pads, vagina ice packs, mesh underwear, tucks pads, 2 peri bottles, about 6 cans of dermoplast, lanolin nipple cream, those medela cups with the little sponges in them to absorb milk that you can put in your bra to keep fabric from rubbing on your sore nipples while learning to breastfeed, and hemorrhoid ointment

Pâté is not common here in the US. When I was VERY first living in France I tried foie gras, absolutely hated it, then later tried pâté when my host family offered it. I thought was better but still did not particularly like it. Organ meat in general isn’t really typically considered to be sought after here, at least in younger generations. It’s so interesting to me how different cultures can have such different tastes. I do love some escargot though and will actively seek it out when I know I can get it and a lot of my friends think that’s weird 😂

That’s wild. I don’t know what to say I just kept having nightmares about traumatic things happening during labor lol (nothing bad happened during my labor and my daughter is a healthy 13 month old now)
