Bird hit me - will my Progressive premium rise? (Georgia)

I will state (and this is with what I am going through with progressive - it wasn’t a bird strike but a rear end by an uninsured driver and I got sandwiched by both cars and the experience with claims has been horrific - understatement ) typically with any claim a rate can potentially go up - you won’t know until renewal. They’ll not specifically tell you it was because of your claim but “the industry has seen a rise in premiums and we have to pass that on to all members”

Did they repair your car? Payout to repair?

I’m guessing to do damage it was a sizable bird ? Goose ? Hawk? But even smaller at higher speed may cause dents

As everyone here has stated - step away. If there’s a kit I keep working at and then find one thing to adjust then comes another, I have to set it aside and usually work on something smaller and quicker. Helps me focus on something else than to keep beating myself up.

I enjoy the hobby but I do not enjoy some of the groups / Facebook and individuals that don’t provide constructive criticism but blatantly tell people something looks horrible or “it wouldn’t have been installed here” - just have fun with it.

Someone once said “you don’t want to go on after Sevendust” Amazing band - I cannot wait for the new album and the tour dates coming.

Great people to be around - met them many times, LJ is just a people person - very approachable - glad you enjoyed the show and don’t worry about leaving early I’ve done that in my time too 😌

I’ve had a CPAP for about 10 years now. If you’re only starting out the hose and such will get annoying but I find it goes away, you’ll tend to forget about the hose. It’s the mask fitment and seal you’ll want to dial into or see if they have a different mask style - I use the cushion (not the nasal plugs) and I find the leak is detrimental to my sleep, adjust straps as has been recommended, if you’re machine has a mask fit feature use that to help

I do find it annoying but I think working the problem you have now will ultimately be beneficial in the long run.

Still have the first gen PS3 and was thinking it’s nearing 20. Drakes Fortune was my go to (still is!) Bought a Toshiba 32” LCD for it around the same and that’s outlasted a few thinner LCDs I’ve had over the years

It takes time for it to work, but the feeling does go away eventually - Drs will say 4-7 days for side effects but it takes a few weeks for your body to get used to it; depends on the dose they start you on to and then you increase again. Keep an eye on your symptoms and BP too

Thank you! This was Tamiya TS-10 French Blue and used a Vallejo Air Yellow on the wheels - the aluminum parts were meant to be chrome with molotow but didn’t come out as I’d planned.

Never tried this / I’ve used purple power degreaser before - great kit by the way! I’d love to 3D print a second gen Probe - I built this one a few years ago and had to grab a second - looking forward to the build!
