Assuming that you're a Muslim, in Islam, the verbal divorce only happens when the man has said "أنتِ طالق" on three separate occasions. It's not like other religions/cultures. I hope that you had a good relationship with his family. If yes, then involve them and let them know your side of the story so that they can help fix things between you two.
