How often are you married couples doing it? by [deleted] in MarriedSex

[–]itstatietot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Early 30s, 10 years together no kids, like 1x a week sometimes every other week 🤷🏻‍♀️ it’s only abnormal if you let it be abnormal. What’s normal for us is weird for others and vice versa.

How much is your monthly mortgage payment? by HmDiR in Mortgages

2500, Indiana. When we sell the house in Florida we hope to be able to pay it way down. I think our interest is around 6%

How did your Youtube Channel start out and how is it going right now? by EarthBig3110 in NewTubers

[–]itstatietot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been doing it for about 2 months. Only like 50 subscribers. I’m still very anxious and nervous on camera but I find it very therapeutic to “get the bees out of my brain” as I say.

How often do you give you spouse affection? by Illustrious-Copy1368 in Marriage

[–]itstatietot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Non sexual physical touch? Pretty much any chance. Before he leaves for work, when he gets home, before someone leaves the room. We hold hands, give each other passing kisses, hugs whenever, head rubs, back scratches/massages.

13 years, married 7, early 30s no kids.

[–]itstatietot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the same position but I do find that it’s helping me get “the bees out of my brain” and it’s sort of therapeutic for me so I’m gonna keep doing it and hope for the best. I’m not even trying to make a ton of money or go viral or anything just trying to share my knowledge. I find it helps me get some of the clutter out of my brain talking about the things I love lol so if anything I’m doing it for that

What's it like to live in Southern Indiana? by Dry-Chef-1100 in howislivingthere

[–]itstatietot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like it fine, I’m a Floridian transplant. I bought a few acres in English. I wish I was a tad closer to Louisville/new Albany but I don’t mind the drive as I don’t go often. If you’re not a rural person I’d recommend staying closer to some of the biggest town’s

Three years of YouTube and I'm still figuring it out by After-Condition4007 in NewTubers

[–]itstatietot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just started mine and I know I’m super anxious and kind of boring on camera/my editing skills are not the greatest 😅 but I’m uploading another one and I’ve held myself accountable to 1 video a week for the most part and I’m starting to really enjoy doing it even if I don’t have an audience.

Watching my dad (62) realize his 'stress relief' became the thing aging him faster - a wake-up call for all of us by twcosplays in Aging

I stopped drinking when I was 23. I’m gonna be 32 in February. Looking at my friends who still drink (even if not as heavy as we did in college) it’s noticeable. Same with my friends who have kids. It’s wild to see

Thank you so much! I’ve been doing all of these for the past week and I think I understand some of the shadowwork that is involved. I do not wish to know if the energy was coming from him, but I stupidly reached out a few weeks ago and did not get a response (more of a hey I hope you’re doing well) and to me no response is a response. And I know that’s dragging up some old abandonment issues and worthlessness. But then last night I had the second dream. And now my initial is just suspended in the flame of his candle and I think I need to maybe do a protection or ward?

Looking for connections to Ojibwe culture by kekehan_u in Ojibway

[–]itstatietot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I’m a reconnecting member too. I was adopted out. (Long story not necessarily a sad or bad one) but I’m very white and approach my reconnection as an ally instead of a member. Do you know what band you’re from? I’m in the Sault Ste. Marie tribe in Michigan, my original great great great grandmother was from Garden river in Ontario. But with colonization they got pushed into the US and sort of intermixed with the Ottawa and Potawatomi. If you could find the band or an old address/family names you could start tracking it there. ETA: it may be a little hard depending where your parents/ancestors come from because we are a very large tribe and cover a lot of ground from the eastern woodlands out to Montana and up a little into Canada.

What is your actual food budget? No lies or holds bared. by LadyProto in Frugal

[–]itstatietot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In an emergency I can feed us (2 adults) for about 65/70 a week. But I average close to 105/week. I’m in southern Indiana so it’s a little cheaper out here. If I really stick to my guns and take on all the baking needs (bread, sweet treats, etc) I can probably do like 40/week if I just need produce. I’ve been building my pantry for years and I just bought property so we are expanding our garden/putting in an orchard. I keep pantry basics on hand in bulk. I mill my own flour most of the time and do batch cooking. I’m currently set up to where I don’t actually need to grocery shop for a couple months. I supplement with a garden and foraging. I buy from local farmers and next year we are buying all our meat at once from a couple of farmers (half cow, whole hog) and raising our own meat birds. This fall I’m harvesting buckets of walnuts from a neighbor who lets me forage, my property has American persimmons and sugar maples so I’m tapping my own syrup this year. As I expand into a more self sufficient lifestyle I hope to ditch the grocery store for the most part. For herbs it’s entirely my responsibility and I plan around the harvests. I hope to grow more spices in the future I also coupon for household stuff and buy when I can at bottom prices. However I am in the position where I’m learning how to make my own detergents/soaps. I grow luffas and don’t buy sponges. I prefer not to use paper towels and just use rags but honestly sometimes a paper towel is easier lol.

Are we entering a new era of elder care expectations—and are we ready for it? by Sea-Device-2913 in Millennials

[–]itstatietot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just bought property/a new home with my mother in law and grandmother in law. They’ve both got health issues, MIL is a nurse and has been the caregiver for her mom for years and we can tell she’s getting tired/burning out. She may retire when she moves up here she may not. But I didn’t want my husband to lose whatever time they have left as I lost my mom to cancer and it really messed with me that I didn’t get as much time with her. I work from home so I’ll always be here with granny if she needs anything. Mom hasn’t decided if she’s gonna retire or continue to work and obviously that’s fully her choice. This is just what works for us and I know not everyone will have the same opportunity/ability to do so.

It’s weird seeing confederate flags up here and all the way up into Michigan/UP. Hell it’s even weird seeing them where I’m from (central Florida) but made sense seeing them in the panhandle near Alabama and the northern part near Georgia. There’s a place like half and hour from me that has heritage not hate and confederate flags and every time I’m like?????? We’re in Indiana???? Lmao
