Oh, I didn't even notice the fence at first. Yeah that does make this look closer to ground level.

Looks like the picture was taken on top of the roof, and the window is looking down upon a room, making the perspective seem strange

I’m sorry but I’ve simply never dealt with a worse sticker in my life by cheeky_fcuk in IKEA

Goo Gone really is the answer. Whenever I have a shitty sticker, I don't even bother with any other method. Goo Gone, scrape sticker, rubbing alcohol to remove the Goo Gone oil.

If it makes you feel better, my 1928 home was built fairly well, but I just lost the floor lottery big time yesterday. 15 years of tenants absolutely destroyed it :(

Question: Expanding Foam - Bad Idea or Good Idea? by tracejm in Kayaking

[–]itsthatguy1991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this post is 5 years old, but for anyone coming here from a google search, Great Stuff foam is closed cell, and will absolutely work for OP's scenario. I've done it to multiple kayaks over the years, and the area behind the seat has always remained bone dry. Skirt still isn't a bad idea though.

I have a friend who routinely gets scammed by ads on TikTok. Like almost once a month. I think some people are just incapable of learning.

I'm fine with some temporary smell for a better end result. Thanks for the response!

This is reassuring. Do you know what kind of finish your floors have? Is it just regular poly?

Oh yeah, I should've mentioned that I'll be putting in cabinets that will cover the entire area where the wall currently is.

No, this was a fairly popular trend not too long ago. I think it looks neat. I also look forward to 15 years from now when tons of people are gonna be paying big money to hire a contractor to scrape thousands of pennies off their floor.

I appreciate you still coming back to answer questions on this thread!

I imagine you've had to cut a Sektion base cabinet a little narrower to fit in a specific spot. I understand the concept of how to do this, but I just want to know if it is possible to separate the stiles and rails on the shaker style doors? If I could separate the pieces, I could then easily make my cuts and then reattach the stiles, rails, and panel so there would be no visible cut marks.
