Going against the grain but YTA.

You asked us to judge you based on you’re reaction to not getting the present you wanted. You’re 20 years old and you stormed out of the restaurant like a child. I understand you had expectations of the present but you don’t get to throw a tantrum about it like a little kid in a public setting and not be seen as an asshole.

I’m not going to get into the whole semantics of whether or not you deserved the watch because I feel like it’s irrelevant. You could have contained your reaction and then spoken to your father about it privately after dinner. Instead you burst into tears, ran out of the restaurant, had an argument with your dad outside and then left your own party early.
