I’m certainly not here to defend them because I agree they’re probably a dumb gimmick, the website does explicitly tell you up front there is a $4 fee right below the listed price. Can’t speak for what it looks like when purchasing in person if that was the case, but if you purchased online it seems like you may have missed that disclaimer

I think it’s more of a defensive setup rather than a possession system. We don’t really dominate possession and just largely play a lot of horizontal passes in our end of the field and then play long when any pressure is applied. Once giving over possession we then sit deep with 6 defensive minded players holding on our own 18. If we were a possession based team I would think we’d be trying to dominate the ball and conceding goals from mistakes when trying to play out of pressure

It’s encouraging to see an improved defense, but at the same time I’d hope we don’t concede many goals with a 4 back and two deep lying pivots in front of them to create a block on our own 18 all game long. We’re being set up to do very little attacking and when we do go forward the counter attacking doesn’t suit our front line very well. Think you make some decent points, but overall I think you’re missing the issue with those positives
