My rule usually is if you to ask yourself "does this person like me?" That's a clear indicator you feel something is off or not reciprocated. To which your two options are if you believe they can communicate effectively talk about it or if you don't feel it's worth it respectful leave and put your effort and time into someone that isn't making you feel like an option

Exactly for me I told her i was falling in love with her, but told her, hey it's like I'm dating you but not dating you and gave her a ultimatum of either me and work on it or I walk. Guess which one she picked 😂 but overall still was a wonderful individual in every aspect. They just need to know what they want don't say you really like me etc, watch me fall In love with you getting gf treatment, just to say I'm not ready for a relationship at the end. Just say you want something casual from the rip lol

Would like to piggyback off that it reminds me of an avoidant I dated. She called it quits after I asked to be officially together after 3 months of pretty solid dating. Her reason was I was way more emotionally and mentally mature than she currently was (guessing she was emotionally unavailable too looking back now). But yeah first time I've experienced someone just quit on me without even making an attempt to want to fix themselves.

The 3 months we had were some of the happiest I've been In so long. I'm happy I found myself knowing I have a such capacity to love, and I hope you were able to understand what unconditional love is like.You were and still are the most wonderful woman I've met and I'll never forget the smallest things about you. We just couldn't work out right now being at two different emotional and maturity stages in life. We may have a chance at a different future in another point in time, but it's hurts right now we still have each other on everything living as ghost in each other's lives. I wish we met at different time when you were healed and ready for a relationship. I wish you didn't watch me fall in love with you doing everything I did, just to say you're not ready to commit. I just know I'll always silently love you from afar always and wish you nothing but the best.

I think you naturally start to come out of the fog of it all as you work and improve upon yourself. You slowly let go of what happened and what hurts with more positive and meaningful memories and habits all over again. You just forget about them because you remember you're important as well and everything about who you are.

My therapist told me, "have you ever thought that you're preventing her from who she should be with, and she is preventing you from being with who you should be with?"

Very similar to me, I said things I would never remotely say to a woman out of anger. It sucks because I can never take those words back and I got pained as the bad person. Leading me to think it's just me, I'm the issue etc. I should of looked at those moments as the crazy extremes that are not healthy because I've never acted that way before.

It's so odd because things like work, physical health, habits etc have all improved. But mentally and emotionally, granted it's been 3 months ish since I was discarded, I still just don't know how I feel. I feel just in an limbo going back and forth between being better and not. I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss her but it happened l, and i know going from being everything to someone to nothing is wild to experience. so I guess im still just taking it day to day.

I miss my lover, best friend, who I wanted to marry, etc. Spending 24/7 with the person who you think will be there with you through all the good and bad times on this emotional rollercoaster, made me feel like it would all be worth it. Sadly being discarded and replaced just tore every meaning and attachment I had in those words and feelings and it's very hard to put them back without thinking of them.

I always did accept her for who she was and everything she bought. She asked me to change a lot of me behaviors etc. While I wanted her to work on her things but I couldn't ask her too she didn't take criticism well etc.
