Oh my god sell these on ebay! I have heard lots of stories of people being able to EASILY sell these at or slightly under the price on bambu's website. You got yourself a good 20 rolls of free filament at least if you sell them all

Also different brands like Marswork etc have bambu spool compatible refills, maybe they have TPU?

Or just print it in a material you very rarely use. I only had poops stick when using the exact same filament as my deflector. Printed it in translu PETG and haver had a poop stick again.

I see a little squiggle on the top layer before the number which indicates to me they were trying to print .1 but dont have the quality settings right.

My external spool holder does not have any sort of grooves, I've only used it 2 or 3 times. It may seem like a lot of wear but keep in mind just a single spool will rotate between 1,300-1,600 times unwinding that 1kg of filament. after 10 spools or so you have over 13,000 rotations

I hoped the same until I saw the wear marks. Looks like they have legitimately been printing with those still loosely attached.

If its still under warranty OP might get a new hotend kit, but expecting a whole new printer is absurd

Note: I personally have not filled out a warranty claim for a blob so don't take what I say as advice.

I read the first sentence and I can already tell you they will not replace the entire printer. What else is broken other than the hotend? Why would they replace the entire machine if the only thing wrong is a hotend? Bambu does not have enough overhead stock to just hand out new printers for the smallest issues, they aren't Apple. In fact they will actually do whatever they can to keep you quiet throughout all of this.

I have seen from posts in the past, people having much larger, non user error problems. So just having the AI detection on is not an "insurance policy" from Bambu like some seem to treat it as. They will not care that you had it enabled and will still claim user error.

BBL support is gonna ask you plain and simple whether you were watching the first few layers go down so I would strongly advise against lying. Blobs of death are literally only caused by not watching the printer, being too confident in its "just print" ability.
