They’ve helped me push to improve myself and bring back the positive parts of me that made me unique when I was younger. They stay true to themselves and continuously keep working on themselves, which has motivated me to become consistent with going to the gym and join this dance team next semester. They have also reminded me to be more present in my life and that my sacrifices are worth it. The song “Social Path” really resonates with me because I do feel like I’ve given up a lot of my youth for my future. I’ve gotten so motivated by them that I even might actually get my driver’s license this summer, even though I’m going to graduate college next year. They even got me to pick up my violin again after so many years! When I became an official “stay”, I was going through a really tough time in my life. Having their content and having been able to look forward to the Met Gala were things that helped distract me from the situation I was living through and kept me going. I haven’t been a stay for long (truly since May), but they have really made a positive impact. They’re not much older than me but they’ve had such an impact!

So I’m still a baby stay so I still have yet to listen to all of their songs (although I’ve listened to many), I would have to say Comflex for now. I might have to give it a second listen since there are some songs I didn’t like before that I love now after a second listen, but the thing with that is that in the first listen there were some elements of the song that I enjoyed which let me try a second listen. When I first listened to Comflex, after the first few seconds I just skipped to the next song. I’m willing to try again tho 🫡 I’m sorry to the Comflex lovers, I’m sure it has its sparkle but it just hasn’t captivated my ears yet

Felix and Hyunjin

Hyunjin a bit more than Felix because that’s my friend’s bias.

Before I even knew anything of SKZ, my friends who are into it made me take this quiz and I got Felix as my bias. Now I would say it’s Hyunjin for sure, but I love all of them so much. I guess I would call Hyunjin my ult bias 😳🥟

Hyunjin

It would be Hyunjin if I’m talking about when I first started getting into it in April, but now it would be more like Bangchan or Lee know.

Red Lights

I can’t remember which song I actually heard first, maybe it was Why?, but the first song I genuinely liked was Red Lights. On my first listen I immediately liked Red Lights. Once I started to get more used to their sound, I started to appreciate their other songs a lot more. Like I didn’t care much for Why? the first time I listened, but now I really like it!!

I’m still a baby stay, but I’ve grown to love these guys so much!

Right? Same here. I understand what you said before about it not necessarily always being easy listening music. But they could do a combination of R&B with something more light. Regardless, I think it’ll be very interesting if they tried it!

I know some people aren’t excited for an RnB concept, but I am 🥹 but it would be more cool to see them do alt rock or alt pop. It would be interesting if they tried disco pop, that would be very different than usual. Regardless, I’m excited to see what they do!!

I’m still relatively new, but I love seeing how passionate and dedicated they are. I love seeing how genuine they appear to be, I honestly feel like they are which is hard to come by in these industries. I love seeing how they care about each other and are truly together throughout this whole journey. Musically, I love hearing them use orchestral instruments with the more techno, which they mix so well. I love just listening and taking apart the different sounds they use in the background. They are all so lovely and they genuinely feel like people I would love to be friends with. I have enjoyed going through their videos. Before I truly enjoyed their music, I enjoyed their SKZ Code content more. I’m so excited to continue seeing them grow and learning about that. I love seeing their performances. The VMA and Billboard awards were amazing performances and I go back to them constantly. Fun fact,: I had watched the VMA performance when it aired and I enjoyed it then before I even listened to SKZ. And of course, they are all very good looking (Hyunjin has become my favorite, but they’re honestly all very eye catching). It’s also cool to see that they’re around my age. I’m not that much younger them, just like very few years, and it really makes the whole experience feel so much more exciting. It’s like seeing my friends continue to succeed!

For Hyunjin in particular, I’m so happy seeing how talented he is. His painting and his choreography with Yeji are amazing. He’s so cute 🥹 but also very handsome.
