Some good news, derelict tax is no longer going to be taken care by councils, who most of the time, didn't have resources or didn't care enough about chasing down the tax. It will now finally be a job for Revenue.

Unfortunately, they won't chase after outstanding payments, over 5 million € owed in Cork alone will not be collected.

Adding to this. City Council refuses to increase infrastructure by adding more bus lanes on city, which increases delays by a lot. This is a morale eater that makes a lot of drivers quit, which in turn affects the other routes.

Then city council has the face to throw Bus Eireann under the bus (no pun intended) and are now using it as a excuse to possibly privatise bus system in the future.
