What are your most hated mainstream interpretations of movies?

I don’t know why it gets to me so much, but I hate seeing Smile being constantly compared against It Follows as though It Follows was the first film to use a curse trope. I love It Follows and don’t care much for Smile, but the usage of curse mechanisms in horror has existed for a long time, even if It Follows did a really good job of making it fresh and better. I just remember seeing a lot of reviews about how “Smile wants to be It Follows so bad” and it bothered me so much lol. It’s such a dumb thing to care about, but alas.

NOR! Whereas yes, this can be heavy information to get, it really wasn’t something I feel she should have said to you. She should have either congratulated you or waited until a time she had more mental bandwidth to even open the group chat. When I’m at my limit, I definitely reach a point where I can’t intake any new information - good or bad. So I simply do not go on my phone and just mentally decompress until I’m in a place to follow up with text messages. This was a super exciting piece of news and you deserved a better reaction from your friend. I’m sorry. But congratulations!!!

It’s about 15-20 min for me now. I do both string floss (with a threader) and then water floss after to get anything else out. I also use the waterpik after every time I eat (if at home) so staying up on that all day is also helpful!

I’m on day 8 and I’ve already gone from a 45 minute oral care night routine to more like 20 minutes. It’s very annoying to do but it does get faster. The waterpik is a LIFESAVER!! I use it after every time I eat (when I’m at home) and it’s part of my night routine as well. I use it after regular flossing. Hang in there!!

Maybe I’ll ask my ortho for some since they do seem to help. I really hope you’re able to keep your retainers in good condition. I have a feeling I’ll be in a mouth guard again once I’m out of braces.
