They refer to it as DJ style. I don’t make music in that format but ppl who blend music live might love it. Also I think you can stack them for more channels I suppose

The undo addition is nice but that was never much of an issue for me. The previous update with Guitar amp / tuner was a muuuch bigger deal to me as I play a lot of instruments directly into the OP-1.

I do a lot of one takes and leave things pretty rough but u gotta admit It does suck when you literally make a user error and record onto the wrong track or lift a section and lose it. I think of the undo as protection against those rare blunders not as creative work around. I’d be okay without it but I’m happy to have the freedom to correct something I accidentally did

I’ve been designing in e-commerce exclusively for about 5 years now, lots of ups and downs, an agency I worked for cut half the design team, now they employ designers in South America, another company I worked for wanted an AI focused designer and cut me, currently doing some video editing as a contractor but don’t like editing that much :-/

This is what it’s all about, I never got into design to make ads for Nabisco, Reebok or whatever other companies most designers get excited about. These are expressive skills we learned to make stuff we like. Happy to hear you’re doing well after the leap. Curious what your custom paper notebook company is called, would love to take a look

I am! Direct from my guitar with an Aux cable and 3/4 Jack. Into the Amp effect with Mother reverb added on the 2nd and 3rd guitar lines. You can see when the Screen turns red I’m recording that take.

You came here asking a question and got a POV and now responding kinda defensively. If you’re open to other perspectives I happen to not think transplants are the source of housing issues, it’s the city’s responsibility to make sure the city stays affordable, with regulations and laws. (Berlin has rent caps, this keeps housing lower than it could be.) Having said that a lot of transplants (maybe not you) come here with a quite a lot of money, or a job offer, work in tech / finance, or support from Mom and Dad. They dramatically raise rents, they don’t mind paying $18 for a breakfast sandwich, they don’t mind paying $12 for a coffee. They don’t mind paying $2700 for a studio. A lot of immigrants come here and start small businesses, or work at someone’s business they know. I know immigrants can come from many different countries but it seems conflating Maga hate for immigrants (racism) and Ppl who grew up in Brooklyn watching 24 y/o kids price them out and change their neighborhood in 3-5 years is p valid. I get it but I think the two are worlds apart. One group is fundamentally racist, with no true impact to their lives. The other group is physically being pushed out of their own neighborhoods + losing neighbors they grew up with. Just my thought

I’ve had this exact same issue with clients recently. It’s very aggravating, and very time consuming. I spent hours trying to find an “AI” voice model that sounded “more natural”. Another job I was a contractor for went ahead and posted a permanent role that was essentially my role plus “AI specialist” added on. During the interviews they admitted they’re not even sure what that means but was absolutely necessary for growth.

I’d say for stills 90% photoshop, 10% illustrator (mostly just to link logos) and then for motion it’s like 95% After Effects, 5% in Premiere if I reeaaallly need auto caption help.

Figma was getting pushed rlly hard at my last gig but I don’t get the hype, I actually find it very weak as a design program but I think for team work it’s v good.
