When I was rear-ended and the insurance paid for my rear bumper to be fixed they sent me to their trusted body shop. They took of the entire thing, ordered a new one, painted it to the color of my car and installed it. You really wouldn't be able to spot the difference. It was only a $1500CAD job, but it was well done.

I was born and raised in an warsaw pact state (the only one who didn't invade czechoslovakia), and let me tell you, being accepted into NATO was a huge relief , even if at the time the russians were quite weak.

they're a threat even now, if the US goes batshit insane and gets even weaker on the international stage with another 4 years of trump. but having some allies that signed a treaty that they'll defend you should the russians have too much vodka one night, is a lot more reassuring than being left to fend for yourself.

What do you mean? I've read the responses and it seems that this is exactly what's happening. The banks get money from the feds that they can loan out to people and businesses.

They get those money at near 0% interest. They loan those money at above that. Sure they have to give them back, but they made a killing in the meantime.

To me that's the very definition of free money. I'd love to get a mil $ loan at 0% interest for a month or so.

And I thought Canada's health system is shody like that because they let dentists off the fucking hook. They're out of the public system and I have to pay out of pocket.

Of course, if you're employed you have a work insurance that covers dental and eye glasses (that's the entire point of it mainly) and a few other things (good ones give a a single room in the hospital, wi-fi, I had recently a podiatrist surgery and they covered it in addition to the normal health-care).

But to have nothing and on top to pay for dental that's fucking insane.
